This picturesque and quaint little cottage sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty, deep in the heart of rural Suffolk. Blaxhall is a pretty village with a rich social history and a traditional country village inn less than one mile away and within walking distance. Admiral Cottage is a period property that has been beautifully restored to create the ideal holiday for couples to enjoy. Guests enter through the stable door into the kitchenette, leading into the sitting/dining area and shower room. Cottage stairs lead up to the bedroom with beautiful Juliette balcony. Admiral Cottage benefits from an ample size garden with beautiful patio area for guests to enjoy there morning cup of coffee or of course dining alfresco. Kitchenette A perfectly formed space for guests to create those light bites. There is a countertop oven which can be used in a number of ways, two ring electric hob, under-counter fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. The room is a delight to use with it's exposed brick wall and stable door opening out onto the garden. Dining/Sitting Room A space to sit back and relax in at the end of the day, in the comfy corner sofa and arm chair, ideally positioned to make the most of the garden views and Smart TV. There is a wooden dining table and two chairs positioned within easy reach of the kitchenette. First Floor Steep and narrow stairs lead up to the bedroom. Bedroom 1 Light fills this room through the Juliette balcony and skylight. There is an extra long double bed with bedside shelves. There is a chest of drawers with stool and mirror and hanging rail for your belongings. Outside Admiral Cottage benefits from a beautiful garden with patio area, perfectly positioned for dining alfresco with table and chairs. The property over looks the countryside and is the perfect place for some peace and quiet. Parking is on road directly outside the property. The prestigious Snape Maltings and world famous concert hall can be found less than 3 miles away. While the historic and quintessentially English seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh are within easy reach. There are miles of heritage coastline, heathland and forest walks to explore. Admiral cottage is perfect for the singleton or couple as a hideaway retreat or intrepid explorers paradise.

The attractive village of Snape is located on the River Alde in the heart of the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Snape is home to a village store and three pubs, all of which offer excellent locally-sourced food. Just outside the village is Snape Maltings a popular destination on the Suffolk Coast and home to a selection of gift shops and independent stores offering a diverse selection of foods, art and crafts. It also boasts a cafe, tea room and pub and is home to The Snape Maltings Concert Hall, the base for Aldeburgh Music whose festival was founded by Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears in 1948. Just 10 miles from Snape is the market town of Woodbridge which has a wide selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. The area is a haven for wildlife and there are a number of popular footpaths from Snape including the Sailors’ Path which follows the line of the river to the popular coastal town of Aldeburgh through ancient woodland and heathland.
