We had a lovely time at Romulus The owners are Lovely people, love the donkeys & Billy the dog.

Plenty to do in this part of Norfolk if we come this way again would definitely stay here.

Lovely cottage next to a farm.

Location close to A11 so getting places was easy. Friendly owners and all you could want for a week in S Norfolk

Romulus is a fabulous cottage in a lovely quiet location, gorgeous view over the fields to the old Church.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, very well equipped with everything you could ever need. The hosts Dudley and Rachel are lovely people, very welcoming and friendly. We loved it so much we've booked again for next year, this time for 2 weeks, 1 week is just not long enough!!

Dudley and Rachel are great hosts very helpful & very friendly. We had the bonus of brilliant weather, lovely location fabulous views over fields you see deers, foxes and of course the resident donkies. We had a really lovely relaxing holiday thank you.

Dudley and Rachel are the most welcoming hosts, the cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean, well equipped with a lovely welcome pack, it's so comfortable, the setting is perfect, so peaceful with a fabulous view over the fields, you can watch the donkeys graze, see the local wildlife - so perfect that this was our second visit and we have booked again for later this year and also our main holiday next year.

We love it!!!

There was everything plus more in Romulus that one would expect in a holiday cottage.

In a great setting for someone who wants to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city or from seaside towns. Loved the stay and would recommend to anyone.

We had a very good week.

It was very nice place to stay an the owner of the cottage was very helpful. The dog was very friendly and would come round to see us most days. It was very clean and that was the 4th time we have been back. We love it there.

The property was lovely and clean and everyone was very friendly.

The outlook onto the field with the horses and the donkeys was lovely. We really enjoyed the horses and donkeys.

Lovely cottage - very clean, comfortable and thoughtfully-equipped, with a generous outdoor space.

Beautiful open outlook across fields with grazing horses, donkeys and guineafowl, and fascinating local history. The friendly owners made us feel very much at home, and for us it was a perfect base for exploring the nature reserves of the Brecks.

We chose this property because it was near to Snetterton race curcuit and can honestly say it was just amazing ,a truly hidden gem .

The cottage had absolutely everything that you could need for a self cattering holiday but the hosts went above and beyond withthe finishing touches everything was thought of .Lovely welcome pack awaited us on arrival .Dudley (host ) came to check everything was upto our approval, lovely friendly man and we met the farm dog Billy who came to visit every day

Our second visit to Romulus.

The owners Rachel and Dudley are always friendly and helpfull with a continuous supply of fresh eggs every day... if you asked for them. The views from the cottage are amazing to wake up to 3 horses and the 3 donkeys grazing was wonderful. St Ethelberts Church in the distance is a nice place to walk too. One tiny issue double bed although comfortable is a bit on the low side getting out for the older pearson may be issue ! Angel public house near by is nice pub to call into. Also recommend is C.J. Barker Butchers in East Harling just down the road...Best sausages ever...

..Dudley and Rachel are great hosts, friendly and very informative about the surrounding area. Lovely views from cottage of horses & donkeys ,very peaceful. Loved every minute of our stay. This was our 5th visit & will be back again. Definitely recommend this cottage.

clean cottage tidy, with a lovely outlook on to fields with all sorts of wildlife coming in and out , fabulous week .

Great little annex to a farm.

All facilities we needed were there and v comfortable. And we loved the garden with views across to the church and of the owners’ donkeys! Owners v friendly and helpful. Would like to return.

Could not fault it. Superb setting on a farm. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful.

Our stay was one of the best we've had, this property was stunning as was its surrounding countryside.

Rachael and Dudley, what can we say. They were the perfect owners, on hand to help with advice on whatever we needed. There was of a pub within walking distance. Plenty of places to visit and the weather was kind. I would definitely recommend their property. (I most certainly left a piece of my heart there)... ❤️

Wonderful place in a beautiful setting.

It was lovely and warm and cosy. Fabulous views of classical English countryside. So relaxing. Durley and Rachel were absolutely delightfully.......and generous, with the welcome food box that greeted us when we arrived.
