“Lovely house with everything you could possibly need, great location near beach.”

Couple of minor cleanliness issues being main bedroom window had lots of cobwebs inside and tables in downstairs rooms mainly living room could do with a thorough clean, however we would definately go back

The property

You're welcomed into an entrance hall with steps down to a lower hall giving access to a large living room on one side and both the kitchen and dining room to the other side; and the added advantage of a ground floor WC and utility. On the first floor are three bedrooms; the master bedroom sitting at the front with its en-suite shower room; the Super-king zip/link bedroom quietly at the back and the bunk bedroom in the middle, next to the family bathroom. The fully enclosed courtyard style garden is a great asset in the heart of town; furnished so you have somewhere to relax with your fish and chips or rustle up a BBQ at the end of a day exploring; accessed from both the kitchen and the dining room. The Red Brick House sits at the bottom of the well-known town steps which take you up to The Terrace where you'll generally be able to park thanks to unrestricted roadside parking. Ground Floor The front door is tucked away at the side of the house and you step down into the entrance hall with the living room to your right, WC and utility ahead of you, and kitchen/dining room to your left; opening onto the courtyard garden. Living Room This spacious living room is furnished with cream sofas and coffee tables positioned so you can relax in front of the real flame gas fire and large smart TV which sits on the shelves, which are also well stacked with books for you to enjoy. Kitchen / Dining Room A stylish L shaped room with large wooden table centrally positioned beside the bifold doors and leading round to the newly fitted kitchen, with all the appliances you'll need to prepare meals at home. The six-ring gas stove offers the chefs of the party the ultimate cooking experience and the enormous double fridge freezer means plenty of space for your perishables and wine. This is a very social space with a beautiful blue velvet sofa to sit on and a large flat screen smart TV on the wall behind the dining table. WC / Utility Room Well located on the ground floor, this is a practical room with washing machine and dryer, sink and a WC. First Floor Carpeted stairs rise to the first-floor landing, giving access to three bedrooms and the beautifully tiled family bathroom. Master Bedroom Sitting at the front of the house this is a lovely bright bedroom with a skylight and attractive bay window. There's a double bed, bedside units, ample storage in built in wardrobes and drawers. En-Suite Shower Room Walk-in shower, WC and washbasin. Guest Bedroom Overlooking the courtyard at the back, this quiet room has a Super-king zip/link bedroom which can be set up as a twin on request, with bedside drawers, a wardrobe, additional drawers and a chair, plus a skylight allowing the light to flood in. Family Bathroom Conveniently located for both the guest and bunk bedrooms, this chic modern bathroom has an L shaped bath with screened shower at one end, wash-basin set in a vanity unit, WC and bags of daylight streaming in through the skylight. Bunk Bedroom With full-size bunk beds and a chest of drawers. Outside A great asset in the heart of Aldeburgh, this walled courtyard gives privacy and a great place for kids to play safely. About the location

ALDEBURGH

Thorpeness 2.1 miles; Saxmundham 7.2 miles.

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
