    “The location of the property is superb and whilst there was only three adults and two children in our party we could see how, with the size and layout of the property, a larger group would be very comfortable.”

    The Crag Path proved very enjoyable for the grandchildren riding their bikes every day and it felt safe. We had two cars and were pleasantly surprised that parking alongside property was never a problem. This is a beautiful home in a fabulous location and we felt lucky to have experienced all it had to offer. We will return as Aldeburgh and Thorpness are two of our favourite destinations of all time. Staying at 42 Crag Path made it all the more memorable. Suffice to say we didn't want to leave.

The property

42 Crag Path sits back from Crag Path with steps leading down to the front courtyard and front door opening into the spacious entrance hall. You're sure to create some happy memories in this impressive property, boasting beautiful sea views. On the ground floor you can find the kitchen, dining room and sitting room where the chef in the group will enjoy the kitchen at one end with the dining room within easy reach. . Carpeted stairs with antique balustrade rise to the first floor where you enjoy a second sitting room complete with french doors opening out to make the most of the views on offer. On this floor are two sumptuous bedrooms, a king with en-suite bathroom and a double bedroom. On the second floor are two further bedrooms, a king size bedroom located at the front of the property where you can wake up to the sun rising over the sea, this room also boasts a fantastic size en-suite bathroom. In addition there is a single bedroom with pull out bed and a family shower room with separate WC. 42 Crag Path benefits from a large patio courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ for guests to enjoy. A perfect spot to sit and enjoy dining alfresco whilst enjoying the sound of the sea. Ground Floor Entering into the ground floor, hard flooring runs throughout the property. Kitchen Located at the rear of the property, a space for all of your culinary delights to be created. Boasting all of the mod-cons including a Rangemaster oven with five ring hob and extractor fan above, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and toaster. Dining Room Enjoy those quality meal times up the beautiful antique feel wooden table and eight chairs, complete with ambient lighting. The room offers a rear door opening out onto King Street. Cloakroom With fantastic map wallpaper showing all the close locations to Aldeburgh. There is a wash basin and WC. Sitting Room Located at the front of the property complete with beautiful bay window. A simply stunning room with wooden paneling and sliding door allowing you to close off the room from the dining room. There are two three-seater sofas and TV for guests to enjoy. Bedroom 3 Wake to the most amazing views of the sun rising over the sea. This room is furnished with a king size bed, bedside tables with lamps and ample built in storage. En-Suite Bathroom An exceptional size bathroom complete with large corner shower, double wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Bedroom 4 A perfect space for an adult or child to enjoy with a full size single bed, built in wardrobe, wash basin and small vanity dresser. There is a pull out bed available upon request. Shower Room Featuring a walk in shower and wash basin with mirror above. Please note the WC is located separately with an additional wash basin. Outside 42 Crag Path benefits from a wonderful patio garden located down from Crag Path, allowing some privacy. There is a bench for your morning cup of coffee, alternatively enjoy dining alfresco with an outdoor table and chairs and BBQ. On road parking is usually available either immediately in front of the house on Crag Path or in nearby side streets. The beach is your playground, just a couple of strides away!

The popular, vibrant seaside town of Aldeburgh is famous for its culture, traditional feel and one of the best fish and chip shops in the country! Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings are home to one of the world’s greatest music festivals and has been named as one of the top 50 places to live in Britain. Crag Path runs along the seafront dividing the beautiful pebbly beach from the unspoilt pastel-coloured seafront properties and the town. The beach is a popular place for groups and couples to enjoy the wonderful fish and chips throughout the summer months. The town is steeped in history and has become a wonderful town for shopping with a good mixture of independent and chain stores to enjoy. The town also offers a good selection of pubs and restaurants or why not buy some freshly caught fish from the huts on the seafront and cook up your own feast at home. For those wishing for a more action-packed holiday there is excellent walking, cycling, sailing and golf at Aldeburgh. Growing in popularity you will want to return to Aldeburgh again and again!
