A scenic, historical village just inside Suffolk on the Norfolk border. Homersfield is a delightful village boasting charming thatched cottages, beautiful natural scenery and some incredible features. It is home to the oldest surviving bridge in Britain and there has been many bones of Ice Age animals found in the village. In terms of amenities, Homersfield has a popular village pub where a mammoth's tusk is on display. There is a stunning woodland in the village that is on the banks of the River Waveney. There is also a delightful cafe and nearby restaurant. Nearby is the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum in the neighbouring town of Flixton. The popular destinations of Lowestoft and Norwich are within easy driving distance and are well worth a visit.
