Description

Enjoying a secluded location and yet just a short walk from the delights of Southwold in Suffolk, 17 South Green is the perfect destination for a family holiday.

Inside, the accommodation is immaculately presented and offers the best of both worlds; a range of traditional features with all the mod cons any discerning holiday guest would expect.

The sitting room is inviting and has ample seating arranged around an attractive woodburning stove which provides a real focal point to the room.

Step into the fully fitted kitchen which has everything that is needed to produce wholesome, hearty food for the whole family with the adjoining dining room a stylish area for everyone to gather and enjoy long, lazy meals together.

The light and airy bedrooms offer a calming space to relax into after a hard day of exploring and are a great place to wake up to in the morning.

Just a few minutes from the cottage is the wonderful sandy beach of Southwold together with an impressive selection of local amenities, making it an appealing place for a day out.

Travelling a little further afield from the cottage and you can check out towns such as Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Woodbridge and Saxmundham, which all offer an excellent range of shops and eateries.

If you want a bit of adventure then jump in the car and head to Bewilderwood, Go Ape Thetford and Ellough Park Racing Circuit or for something a little more sedate, take a trip to Framlingham Castle, Somerleyton Hall, Yoxford Antiques Centre and Gardens and Glemham Hall.

Other great beaches nearby include Aldeburgh, Orford, Walberswick and Dunwich.

17 South Green is a hidden holiday gem in the heart of Southwold.

My family absolutely loved this cottage and would definitely choose to stay again.

Very clean, good seating in the sitting room and dining room for 4. A few bumped heads on low door frames but the charm of the cottage instantly made us forgive it! The beds were comfortable but my only niggle was that the master was 2 mattresses together rather than one big one - not so good for couples that cuddle. The mattress slightly overhung the bed frame so my other half felt like he was going to fall out on occasion.

This is such a sweet cottage, with a wonderful location tucked away down a cul de sac.

It is small, the second double bed especially so, but so well thought out and equipped. We had a lovely stay.
