We had a lovely time at horseshoe, as we did a couple of years ago. The only problem was the TV, we tried everything to find normal channels, it was a different one than was mentioned in the booklet. Other than that everything else was fine. Looking forward to going back, hopefully in April. Eddie.

Lovely property, setting is amazing and peaceful.

We found the shower had a mind of its own as to whether it stayed pointing at you or suddenly the ceiling! I felt the overall cleanliness was ok but we did find a used dog food packet down the side of one of the settees and under sofas need sweeping. But having said that it was a good place for us and I would recommend it to others, the Christmas lights were lovely!

Well positioned for easy access to seaside and inland places of interest.

So thoughtfully designed as a site, with places to sit out and enjoy the ambience of the accomodation including a lakeside 'hide-out' with binoculars for two!. Spotted some great wildlife when walking the dog around the grounds. Small children's playground and games room - a great asset!. As are the grounds with a mix of 'wild' and cultivated When we visited it was not fully occupied but peace and privacy may be compromised when other people are sitting out in the courtyard and can see into the accommodation we were in, if you didn't close blinds/curtains. No free cupboard space to put provisions away and off the counter surfaces - due to being well stocked with crockery but difficult to reach most wall cupboards if you are smaller than 5. 2ins. Overall though, really good accommodation, attractively presented, warm and comfortable.

This was a lovely picturesque place to stay, with lovely views and accommodation.

A superb relaxing mini break in a wonderful peaceful accommodation Cottage met all our expectations fully, and was clean and tidy on our arrival.

Fantastic mini break in beautiful surroundings and peaceful tranquility.

The farm is stunning. Horseshoe apartment was a home from home with very comfy lounge, beds and well equipped kitchen. Every need was catered for with the laundry room, washing line and cleaning equipment available and also the bbq / outdoor dining facilities. The games room, climbing frame and open space were perfect for the kids and the courtyard area, in full spring bloom was gorgeous! We would love to come and stay again & only wish we had longer this time! Perfect for our family of 4 but would also be great to book with wider family / friends. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Lovely property, clean and cosy, had everything we needed.

Super location and very quiet.

The bedrooms, bathroom was well appointed clean and very nicely presented and equipped.

The whole property was clean and tidy, however we were a bit disappointed with the kitchen area which had hardly any space for food storage. The living area let down the rest of the property and looked tired in comparison. There was no dvd or did player as stated. We were pleased there wasn't so bad Internet coverage as expected from the property. The property was warm and dry. The setting was lovely and nice to look out on and outside facilities looked good, but due to the cold spell we didn't use them. We feel if we'd chosen the Spring or summer months we'd have been contend to spend time sitting outside. The actual location was brilliant for the coast, countryside with lots of lovely market towns nearby.

Great dog friendly pce with lake and walks nearby.

Very close to historic sites in Suffolk. We will return.

We had an amazing time, the cottage was lovely, in a perfect setting, near to lots of historical places to visit.

Also close to the coast & beautiful seaside towns. We loved it, our only problem was because I am disabled I struggled with the low comfy sofas. Other than that it was perfect . Barbara Dawes

Our only criticism is that whilst there was a weak but usable free wi-fi supplied, the mobile phone network coverage was nil.

This was with Vodafone. Other networks might have been better. I suppose this is only to be expected as the cottage which is amongst the best we have ever been to in 12 years is in a beautiful setting in the middle of nowhere.

Property was comfortable and well stocked and the grounds maintained to a high standard with lovely plants/flowers.

Great play areas for children with a huge choice of equipment/games and also a splendid indoor facility which we enjoyed. Excellent location for exploring the Suffolk coast. Downside was the water pump running ALL WEEK in the next field (except for about 4 hours each night when it ran out of fuel) so we were not able to enjoy the peace and quiet this lovely setting deserved. We fully understand that crops need watering but it does have an impact on the tranquility when that is being done.

Great location , beautiful grounds, lots to do and seating for lounging in the sun.

Lovely place but in need of attention ie deep clean and better shower.

Lovely quiet position.

Thoughtful extras including cookies, milk and bread. Spacious and comfortable. Shared utility facilities and barbecue and games room. Would be great for families as well, huge play apparatus and sit on toys for children. Only negative the outside woodwork and windows need cleaning.

We love the property its ideal being on one level as my partner Kim struggles with stairs as she has got fybromalgia.

We noticed when we used hot water after few seconds it went lukewarm. We used the oven a couple of times and thought the trays could need to be renewed. Everything else was bang on we love it can't wait to come back

It was well set-up and very comfortable and in a lovely location with a lot of ground also good facilities as in a laundry room and games room. We are looking forward to going back there when the weather is better hopefully in March

This is our second stay at these cottages And we will return.

They suit us very well. A group of cottages set around a lovely courtyard. The large pond attracts many wild ducks and birds. You feel as if you are in the middle of the country but not far from the main roads to access further afield. We love walking in the forests, which aren’t far away but also the estuary walks and coast.

The "twin" bed on which I slept was less comfortable than I could have hoped, but with a number of sleepers of different weights, that's probably inevitable.

I would like to thank the host personally for her kindness in putting me in touch with a doctor when I needed advice and treatment. She could not have been more helpful.

This was an ideal cottage for our needs, very central for all the places we wished to visit.

Cottage facilities excellent and appreciated the bread, milk and biscuits for our arrival. Also appreciated the 10% discount voucher for the nearby farm shop. Our dog loved the grounds,lake and the ducks. Would certainly return to this property if visiting Suffolk again

We were made very welcome when we arrived, and because I admired a lovely tub of Sweetpeas, a message was sent to me that I was welcome to pick as many as I liked, so I did and they were gorgeous!

It was so nice to find milk, fresh bread and some biscuits had been left for us. The bed was extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. Just one thing, and it is not really a complaint, but I have recently had surgery on both my knees and found the over the bath shower tricky so grab handle would have been handy, but then how many people do you get who have just got two new knees!! We had a lovely week. Thank you.

Horseshoe cottage was very comfortable in beautiful surroundings well equipped with all the things you would need for in a cottage holiday.

We enjoyed out weeks stay and would definitely return.

The cottage was in a lovely location and had great facilities.

Lots of lovely little touches, such as bread, milk & cookies when we arrived and thoughtful stuff like boxes of tissues etc. The games room was a great facility too.

Very comfortable holiday and prompt response from proprietor to any queries.

Accommodation was set in a lovely garden with a large pond where birds gathered.

Very restful environment with a well equipped and comfortable cottage. Having the use of a barbecue, games room, laundry room and childrens play area meant that the site can meet the needs of different peoples needs. Would definitely return if in the area on another occasion.

Horseshoe Cottage was in a beautiful location.

A peaceful haven of tranquility. The bird life around the pond kept us amused and the grounds are full of well tended plants. The cottage was very clean and well presented - a home from home. The cottage was perfectly situated for visiting family in in Aldringham and Tunstall and we would be happy for a return stay and will certainly be recommending this holiday location to family and friends. We have booked cottages with you on various occasions and they have always met or exceeded our expectations. Well Done.

Second time we have stayed at Horseshoe cottage and would like to go again.

Very well placed for visiting coast and country. Farm shop was very useful. Very sorry to hear that the owner had died but we had a lovely welcome from his wife's sister.

We had a really good time the cottage was lovely and my ferrets loved the grounds were the large pond was, we had some lovely long morning walks around it.

All in all everything was great.

The owner was more than helpful, Tranquil settings, the cottage was warm and spacious, a little bit tired and dated but overall good and very welcoming.
