Chapel Cottage, Newbourne

The property needs a little bit more maintenance, i.

e. toilet seat loose taps on the bathroom basin loose. I looked for a fan for upstairs but could not see one which would be handy in this sort of heat. It’s in a very good location i.e. two minutes roll to the pub.

Spotlessly clean, great location, great pub next door, settees uncomfortable, cold downstairs and no logs provided for fire, welcome pack bottle of apple juice and a packet of crisps, how strange, could have done with logs and dishwasher tablets

A really nice little cottage, plenty of room in the enclosed courtyard to sit with the dogs.

Location next to the pub wasn't an issue, even though it was busy in the evenings, it wasn't noisy inside the cottage with the doors and windows open due to the heat. The cottage is well equipped with modern kitchen appliances, I assume there is underfloor heating downstairs but that wasn't needed. We would recommend to anyone for whom the location is convenient.

This was our second stay at this lovely cottage.

Brilliant location. Extremely well equiped and comfortable. Wonderful for dog owners as lots of good walks nearby. The Fox Inn literally just across the road was an added bonus, as no driving to find excellent food. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful homely feel, very welcoming, and really felt comfortable. Facilities ideal and a perfect location. Would definitely book again if at all possible.

Great location and the Fox pub opposite was excellent! TV Remote had 'Low Battery' warning so had to be replaced, perhaps something the cleaners could check on in future

We enjoyed the local walks and having a warm and welcoming dog friendly pub across the road was a bonus. We would definitely return.

The location is perfect, opposite the Fox Inn which served excellent food. Not far from Woodbridge, great town with lots to offer. Our dogs enjoyed walking in the woods. Thankyou Lesley and Alan Yates and dogs Mabel and Henry

Chapel Cottage is a very homely and welcoming cottage with a nice atmosphere.

It is very well equipped with some nice little touches. It is in a nice friendly village with some good walks. The pub food is excellent. Just a couple of observations, it would be good from a health and safety point if the handrail on the stairs extended to the bottom. Some coat hooks somewhere would be good. We planning on returning later this year

Warm, welcoming and worked perfectly for a holiday with our dog. Lots of local walks and dog friendly pub just across the car park.

Lovely cottage.

Beautifully decorated, with some nice touches, candles , ornaments etc. Very well equipped. Superb location.

The location couldn`t have been better for us.

Walks on the doorstep, fantastic food at The Fox and also Nourish cafe. The cottage was as described and quirky. I just couldn`t get either the towel rail or central heating to work- except for one day which surprised us all!- so we had a week of damp towels and being rather cold ( not worth faffing with the wood burner).I did report this but nothing happened although the porch outside lights (also reported) were fixed for the final night. One other small point- the shower on/off is very hard to turn and a non slip bathmat would be a good idea.

The perfect cottage in the perfect location!

Everything was spot-on, the house was very comfortable and well-equipped. We'd brought our own supplies but if we hadn't, it was thoughtful to provide tea and coffee to start us off. It was great to be able to park outside and we were happy to eat at The Fox (and its sister pub the Maybush) several times. No mobile signal unless you sit in the bus shelter opposite - but on holiday that's an advantage! Thank you. I hope we can stay again sometime.

Superb cottage and location.

Delightful attention to detail. We stayed for five weeks whilst waiting for our new home to be ready. An absolute pleasure and was sad to leave. Will recommend to all our friends.

Lovely property in a beautiful location.

Took our dog who loved the many gorgeous walks on the doorstep. Safe courtyard garden for her too. Highly recommend.

The cottage is great and in a very nice location.

Everything that you might need is provided and there are large shopping centres within easy reach. Wasn't quite sure where to park but simply used the pub car park and couldn't get the heating going at first as it was quite cold. There is not much outside space available
