We have had a truly lovely week at The Mill House, from 8th to 15th August 2026, and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and settled, and the property provided us with everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday. The bungalow is very spacious and was more than large enough to comfortably accommodate our family of six. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, while also having lovely areas where we could spend time together as a family. The accommodation felt welcoming and homely, and it was a pleasure to come back to after a day out. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made such a difference, particularly after busy days exploring the area. The bed linen and towels were spotlessly clean, and we were really impressed with the overall cleanliness of the property. Everything was well presented, and it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into making the bungalow a pleasant place for guests to stay. The entire property was spotless, which gave us great peace of mind throughout our holiday. We particularly enjoyed having the front and back gardens. They are both lovely spaces and gave us the opportunity to sit outside, relax in the sunshine and enjoy meals together. Having outdoor space was a real bonus for our family and added another dimension to the holiday. It was lovely being able to sit outside with a drink, enjoy the surroundings and simply unwind. The location also meant that there were some excellent places nearby to eat. Everitt Park Café serves excellent food and was a great option when we fancied a meal out. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Mermaid Fish Bar, which served excellent fish and chips. Both were well worth visiting and helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we have had a fantastic family holiday and have been very happy with our stay. The combination of the spacious accommodation, comfortable beds, spotless rooms, lovely gardens and convenient location made it a great base for our week away. Many thanks for having us. We have really enjoyed our time here and have made some lovely family memories. We would be very happy to return in the future and would certainly recommend The Mill House to other families looking for a spacious, comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Thank you again for a fantastic week — we hope to return soon! The Wright Family x
