The delightful Suffolk market town of Halesworth is full of character, with old buildings, a weekly market held on a Wednesday and a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants, which are predominantly independent.
The Halesworth Town Trail offers a walk through the town whilst learning about its history, whilst within easy reach is the gentle, undulating surrounding countryside, which is ideal for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers.
The beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coastline features unspoilt heathlands and the RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve, whilst the internationally renowned Snape Maltings Concert Hall, and the delightful coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh are all within a short drive.
With the cities of Ipswich and Norwich both within touring distance, Halesworth is an ideal location from which to discover Suffolk.

First time in the area, lovely place and fantastic place to visit, not far from all the many popular areas to visit.
The Owner David was very helpful, and knowledgeable on the local area and places to visit, also the benefit of EV charger.

The cottage was beautiful - lovely gifts, warm, comfortable, cosy - just perfect. The walking was literally outside the front door, a fabulous environment. David was a charming host and nothing was too much trouble for him, his advice, support, attention to detail and always on hand if we needed him. He had a good knowledge of walks and outstanding areas to visit. We would certainly go back again and again - amongst our top 5 favourite cottages and destinations.
A bit difficult to find at first, this made it nicely secluded despite there being what appeared to be an office on site.
Proprietor was friendly and helpful. Bed sloped a bit but nevertheless comfortable. Fridge,washing machine etc all top quality equipment. Living area was roomy and had character with good layout and appearance.Plenty of access to countryside for walking. Our dog was very happy as well. Enjoyable stay, All amenities available in beautiful local village.
