Enjoying close proximity to the glorious sand and pebble beach of Kessingland as well as the Norfolk and Suffolk Broads, 6 Coastal Cottages make an excellent base for a small family or group of friends looking to explore this desirable area. Park up in either of the two off-road parking spaces provided before unloading your bags and making your way inside this lovely abode to begin your staycation. A long journey calls for rest, so kick off your shoes and follow the wooden flooring through to the snug sitting room, where you can enjoy a moment of peace in front of the Smart TV. When stomachs start to rumble, make your way through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, beautifully-appointed with a nautical blue décor, where you'll find a fantastic range of amenities to help prepare delectable dishes to be enjoyed with your loved ones at the dining table. In the summer months, take your dining experience outdoors with a leisurely seat in the garden, where a sheltered veranda offers a delightful spot to enjoy your favourite tipple even on those rainier days. As the dark skies draw in, retreat indoors and prepare for bed with an indulgent soak in the bathtub before climbing the stairs to the first floor to catch your rest in one of two well-presented bedrooms, with the choice between a double and a twin, each offering ample storage to unpack your belongings and make yourself at home. Take advantage of your central location and take the short stroll into the heart of Kessingland where you'll find a wealth of local amenities to assist with your self-catering needs, including a variety of delicious eateries and both high-street and independent shopping opportunities. The avid outdoor adventurers in the group will delight with the network of footpaths available from your doorstep, with the peaceful yet vibrant grounds of Benacre National Nature Reserve within easy reach, as well as the short walk to the glorious sands of Kessingland Beach. Keep the little ones entertained with a trip to Africa Alive, a remarkable African-themed safari park where you can come face-to-face with rhinos, lions and ostrich to name a few! A trip south along with coast will bring you to the seaside town of Southwold, where you can climb the spiral staircase of the 19th century Southwold Lighthouse, boasting panoramic views of the coastline from the top, or if that's not your thing, test your swing with an afternoon at Southwold Golf Club or take a step back in time with a tour of Southwold Museum. Travelling further along, spend the day visiting Lowestoft, famed as the easternmost town in the UK, where you can easily access both the Suffolk and Norfolk Broads and explore the glistening waterways by foot or boat. A popular holiday destination whatever the weather, whisk your loved ones away on a memorable retreat to 6 Coastal Cottages.
