“1There was a very large damp spot on the ceiling in the lounge that had evidently been there for a while !”

! This dripped large amounts of water whenever anybody used the shower !! So we had to place a bowl under the area to catch the water !!!!!!! 2. The kitchen cupboards had paint peeling off them in fact one drawer had no cover !!!! 3 The garden that was pictured for the cottage was infact the garden next door not the garden attached to the cottage 4. The fresh flowers were a nice touch on arrival and the sourdough bread was greatly appreciated The butter was not fresh and looked like it ...

The fresh flowers were a nice touch on arrival and the sourdough bread was greatly appreciated The butter was not fresh and looked like it had been left from a previous guest as half used 5. The whole property did need updating it felt a bit like nothing had been maintained. We did contact the owner about the leak from the bathroom and they said they would get the handyman to visit but this did not happen The price of this property including the extra monies for the dogs was very high for the standard accommodation. It could be a lovely cottage but needs care and attention or a reduced rate Not sure we would return Although the location and surounding grounds were excellent .
