The driveway to property, scraped the underneath of our car going down it when everyone was in the car…needs levelling out. Also needs better sight lines onto road/vegetation trimming or a mirror to assist., as onto busy country road with no pavement. Key was in door not the key press per other visitors comments.
Property itself it nice, spacious & has good bones, sofas & entertaining table are lovely, nice welcome pack & cooker/fridgefreezer good. Lovely flower displays.

It could be great with the following tweeks.
1) Trim the bushes by both doors more.
2) Sort out the uneven driveway drop.
3) Get new garden furniture, only 2 chairs useable & we had to take beach towels to sit on them.
4) Fix the ceiling leak in the downstairs bedroom & bathroom, leaks during thunderstorms and thus is starting to go mouldy.
5) Clean the window frames once a month, full of cobwebs & spiders.
6) Get rid of the mould spores (furry) on the wood in the kitchen above the table. (Not big but needs sorting).
7) Kitchen table chairs are a cute idea but the wood on at least 1 is flaking & so you cannot sit on it.
8) Get the cleaner to clean under the topside of the bedside tables, whopping spider web & spider under the nightstand nearest the bathroom downstairs. Have to say the rest of the in-house cleaning was spot on to a very good standard.
9) New matresses needed on kids beds upstairs, main upstairs bed was a little soft for my liking, I kept rolling to the middle ? (new one needed here too?)
10) The water tasted ‘off’ to drink neat, so we brought bottled water & boiled tap water for tea & coffee as usual, maybe it needs a filter fitting?
The property is well situated, in lovely countryside, within reach of nice towns without too much of a trek & we’d happily use it again if it was brought up to scratch, it’s a good space that stayed cool downstairs during the 34°c heatwave!
