"We have stayed in many places in Southwold throughout the years but "28 South Green" has definitely topped them all! It is pure luxury...... the location is fantastic and view amazing. We also booked the beach hut which was a stones throw away in a great location with everything you could want. Thank you, we have had a wonderful stay and will be back soon! On entering the front door you know you’re somewhere special with quality furnishings and fittings throughout, starting with the large L-shaped kitchen/dining room with double doors onto the patio, a utility room and elegant drawing room with an open fire on the ground floor. Ideally positioned to make the most of the views over South Green to the marshes and sea beyond, the elegant living room sits on the first floor, together with three bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and the chic family bathroom. Few bedrooms can beat the master suite with views of the sea from the bed, an en-suite shower, two balconies where you can soak up the sun and a palatial bath in the bedroom.
The secluded courtyard garden, furnished with table and chairs, tempts you to make the most of the warmer months and sea air, enjoying meals outside and off road parking’s provided for one car with additional parking on nearby roads or car parks and, as you’re so close to the beach and high street, you’re unlikely to use the car much!

This is the smallest of the bedrooms, however the views and Juliette balcony make up for the size. A super king size zip and link bed allows you the option of a twin or super-king configuration, there is also roll out under bed storage and there's a storage space in a built-in wardrobe.
Courtyard Bedroom (Bedroom 3)
Light double aspect room overlooking the courtyard, simply furnished with a super king size zip and link bed giving the option of a twin or super-king bed and there is also roll out under bed storage. As this room has the en-suite shower room it's better suited to couples with Bedroom 2 allocated for the children, so please be sure to select the choice of super-king or twin configuration when you book.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The nose of the car needs to be parked as close to the fence in front of Harriet's Cottage as possible to allow the neighbour his right of way past the car, please respect this as the neighbours are full-time residents. Additional cars can be parked on nearby roads or public car parks.
Whilst the courtyard style patio at the back is a wonderful space for outside dining and is sheltered by surrounding buildings, guests in Harriet's Cottage and the neighbouring house do have access so it's not 100% private or secure so children do need to be supervised.
Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
