Two bedrooms and family bathroom are on the first floor, the master boasting period features and far reaching views of the river and sea beyond, and a quirky double room with bed set into the alcove. Steep stairs lead to the third bedroom with beams and sloping ceiling in the attic.
A key feature of this self-catering cottage is the extension – designed by award winning local architect, Hugh Pilkington, it has a gently curving, fully glazed elevation under a zinc roof ,where rain water runs down creating a waterfall effect for guests relaxing in the well equipped kitchen/dining room.
Sunny and beautifully laid out with established herbaceous border and shrubs, the garden is secluded and has a brick paved terrace with sturdy table and benches for guests to enjoy dining in the fresh air during the summer months. The cottage has off road parking.
