Brand new property just launched in Walberswick, Suffolk
Walberswick is a small and idyllically secluded village on the Suffolk’s Heritage Coast. Webster Cottage is a charming self-catering holiday home located in a quiet lane just a few steps from the sea with expansive beach, marshland, village green and harbour.
Walberswick is a hidden gem in Suffolk. Until the early 20th century the village was a trading port, but today it is one of Suffolk’s top tourist attractions with picture postcard village green with tea rooms, restaurants and two public houses (The Anchor and The Bell), art gallery, original crafts and gift shops. The village is famous for its annual crabbing competition and guests will enjoy the stunning sandy beach and marshland.
This traditional Suffolk cottage has an entrance hall with doors leading to the sitting room and kitchen, with a utility room and the family bathroom beyond. Stairs lead from the hall to the first floor where the master bedroom with king size bed and sea view, two single rooms and a toilet are located.
The cottage has a large garden with seating areas to three sides, allowing guests to enjoy the sun as it moves around. There is parking in a layby opposite the holiday cottage.
A picket fence separates this semi-detached cottage from Leverett’s Lane and a path runs round the house to the garden, laid to lawn. There are a couple of patio and seating areas where guests can enjoy dining in the fresh air and catch the sun at any time of the day with benches and tables strategically placed!
There is a single parking bay directly opposite Webster Cottage; additional cars can be parked near the village green.
