“Do stay here if you are looking for a little bit of wilderness with sophistication on the side. The shepherd’s hut is so relaxing, with a view across to Eye church and an amazing sunset on the night I visited. Scrunchy bed linen and candlelight…utter simplicity and romance. Just a stroll across the field is a bathroom with a powerful shower, within a beautifully renovated ancient abbey maltings. I came away feeling rested and inspired!
