The Old Reading Room, Boyton is a delightful holiday property ideal for couples wishing to relax in rural tranquility just a few miles away from the bustling market town of Woodbridge and with the Suffolk heritage coast on the doorstep. The property, which we understand was the village reading room in victorian times has been lovingly converted using a wealth of natural materials with furniture made from locally sourced wood.
Guests will arrive via a delightful drive into rural calm and can park adjacent to the property, which they enter into the main sitting kitchen dining room, complete with wood burning stove, beyond which lies the bathroom and double bedroom, with a short stroll to a secluded outdoor seating area with views to Boyton wood.
The bedroom has a double bed with bedside shelves and reading lamps. There is a large cupboard for storage and wall pegs. The room has a large window overlooking the green and a wooden floor.
The open plan kitchen/ living room is bright and airy with views over to Boyton and the nearby wild meadow. The living area has a two seater sofa, an armchair and an exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner. The kitchen area is which is wooden and rustic in design is equipped with an electric hob and oven, a dishwasher and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The kitchen and living room have various items of unique high quality Fairtrade home wear sourced through Maison Bengal, the owners Fairfrade company.
