Take a peek at The Schoolroom, Earl Stonham

This charming cottage has the benefit of a super modern kitchen and shower room with traditional bedroom and living/dining room with wood burner, cleverly mixing old with new. The location, in a hamlet of Earl Stonham in mid-Suffolk, surrounded by beautiful countryside and gentle footpaths, makes it a true rural retreat and gardeners are sure to fall in love with the landscaped gardens which have been planted to give interest and colour throughout the year.

You’re welcomed into the modern side of the house with galley kitchen to the right of the entrance hall, sleek wet room to the left and living/dining room ahead of you. The large bedroom sits above the living room with stairs rising directly into it and uninterrupted views of the garden and fields beyond from the window.

Moat Farm is a gorgeous property surrounded by a moat in the hamlet of Middlewood Green near the village of Earl Stonham in mid-Suffolk. The Schoolroom is self-contained wing of the house which was, as you’d expect, the schoolroom for children living in the farmhouse. Guests can enjoy a stunning garden and patio with wide borders heaving with herbaceous plants, as well as being invited to wander around the extended gardens which have been designed to give interest throughout the year.
