Characterful holiday cottage in a secluded position with a plethora of original period features including an open fire and exposed beams, complemented by beautifully handmade furnishings and high-quality furniture. Situated just outside the historic village of Haughley, between Bury St Edmunds and less than an hour to Suffolk’s Heritage Coast, this is a great spot for a holiday or short break.
The front door of this detached holiday cottage takes you into a porch where you can leave outdoor gear, then to the hall with access to the kitchen, bathroom and large living area. The twin bedroom is at the far side of the kitchen and stairs rise from the dining area to a unique galleried bedroom.
Wassicks Cottage is surrounded by enchanting gardens and is a peaceful retreat for family and friends, from where they can enjoy so many sights and activities that Suffolk and neighbouring Cambridgeshire have to offer. There’s ample parking on the main drive (shared with the owners).
