Hintlesham Hall Golf Club is a very popular course for visitors to Suffolk which spreads across 150 acres of luscious Suffolk parkland and is a marvellous test for some more confident golf players.  Nearby cottages of Mousehall Barn and Mara Lodge would make an ideal base for anyone looking to play this course.

Aldeburgh Golf Club

Aldeburgh is another popular Suffolk golf course, with views over towards the River Alde this course has something for everyone.  Looking for a competitive round of 18 holes or a family game of 9 holes on the river course?  It’s an ideal way to enjoy golf the Suffolk way.

The Golf Club has a stunning terrace overlooking the course.  Ideal to sit back and let the experts play with a glass of something cool and refreshing!  Close to the centre of Aldeburgh, a stay in one of our stylish Aldeburgh cottages would mean you’re never far from teeing off!

Beccles for Beginners

For those who haven’t played golf before Beccles Golf Club is a great little course for beginners or for those who need to bring down their handicap.  Nearby you are lucky enough to have two stunning cottages of Shipmeadow Granary and 1 Tunns Cottages the ideal base for exploring this beautiful part of Suffolk.

Larger golfing groups can comfortably be accommodated at Hensted Hall with Apartment, which sleeps up to seventeen.

Woodbridge Golf Course

Woodbridge Golf Course is made up of 2 of the finest’s heath-land courses in Suffolk.  The ‘hidden gem’ is the 9 hole Forest Course which is perfect for all levels of ability.  The course is temptingly close to Woodbridge and our stylish cottages in the local area.  So you could be on the green for an early morning game before breakfast on the 19th hole!

Halesworth Golf Course

Halesworth Golf Club is situated just a few miles from the beautiful Suffolk heritage coast. It’s set in 190 acres of undulating countryside.  In addition it offers a wide range of facilities including a 18 hole championship to a 9 hole pay and play course.  Nearby you have the choice of the gorgeous Timberwheel Cottage , Ivy House, Blyford Hall and Stone House.

Thorpeness Golf Course

Any keen golf players will have heard of the Scottish professional golf course designer, James Braid.  Interestingly, in 1922 he designed Thorpeness Golf Course. This course winds through sliver birch, pine trees and heather.  Tempted to give it a go?  Why not base your self in this picture postcard village in one of our Thorpeness holiday cottages.
