Kentwell Hall Scaresville - 4 October - 4 November

Kentwell Hall in Long Melford hosts an thrilling Scaresville month during October.  The hall and surroundings become a haunted village with the sole aim to scare you.  Taking place after dark it is aimed at Adults and over 14 year old.  You are also more than welcome to visit Kentwell Hall during the day and take in the stunning surroundings.

Southwold's way with words festival - 8 - 12 November

Southwold’s Way With Words festival returns for 2018. Amongst the speakers this year are Matthew d’Ancona examining the art of the lie that is now shaking the foundations of democracy with POST-TRUTH POLITICS. Vince Cable MP and Leader of the Liberal Democratic Party discussing his new novel in FROM FACT TO FICTION and Polly Toynbee and David Walker return to the festival to debate THE UNCERTAIN FUTURE OF THE PUBLIC SECTOR.

Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre - 22 - 25 November

The Thirteenth Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre is going to be better than ever! The Fayre will extend from the historic Angel Hill and Abbey Gardens to the modern Arc shopping centre and The Apex. Add in the cosmopolitan town centre of Bury St Edmunds, the regular street market and some excellent entertainment, it’s a great day out for all ages. With over 300 stalls selling a variety of gifts, crafts, food, seasonal produce and much more, there is something for everyone.
