Aldeburgh Music Festival - 7 - 23 June

For 17 days each June the world’s leading musicians converge on the Suffolk coast for our flagship Aldeburgh Festival. Founded by Benjamin Britten, Peter Pears and Eric Crozier in 1948, and now with pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard as its Artistic Director, the Aldeburgh Festival is one of Europe’s leading classical music festivals and much more. The programme includes orchestral and chamber music, opera, the contemporary art show SNAP, walks and talks and a vibrant fringe programme at The Pumphouse.

The English Garden - Art for Cure, Somerleyton Hall - 15 to 16 June

Art For Cure are very excited to announce an exhibition of new work by the brilliant and hugely talented Jelly Green in the beautiful garden rooms of Somerleyton Hall with outdoor sculpture in the sunken white garden by ethereal sculptor Jeremy Moulsdale.

Suffolk Day - 21 June

Did you know that Friday 21 June is Suffolk Day 2018? A great time to visit the county and sample all the things that make Suffolk great.

This year is the second Suffolk Day, it is being spearheaded by the East Anglian Daily Times, Ipswich Star and BBC Radio Suffolk and with support from organisations throughout the county.

It will be an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture, art, stunning coastline, wildlife, Food & Drink, sport and the list goes on, so come and visit us and learn more about the home county of Morris, our friendly seagull
