We were raising money at Sausage Fest 2014 in Framlingham at the weekend!
WHY DID WE GET INVOLVED?
We’re always keen to get involved in as many community events as we possibly can, we’ve known about the Framlingham Sausage Festival for a while now and just couldn’t resist coming along to raise money for The Best of Suffolk charity fund, which supports local charities that are close to our heart.
Our very own Clare Flaherty was busy on the phone to local businesses in the weeks leading up to the event asking for donations for all aspects of our stand. These businesses were incredibly supportive and generous, which we’re extremely grateful for.
THE FUNDRAISING ON THE DAY
On the Best of Suffolk stand, we ran a Bottle Tombola with over 60 bottles of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. kindly donated by local businesses and friends of Best of Suffolk.
See everyone who kindly donated below:
Thank you to everyone!
CLARE, EMILY AND ANNETTE ON THE TOMBOLA STAND!
The event was a huge success and exceeded our expectations with all bottles selling out by mid-day, having to replenish the bottles to continue the fundraising!
We raised over £250 on the day!
Thank you to everyone who took part on the day and to those who supported our fund-raising and made the event possible.
To keep the children happy and kick start their charitable side, we brought along our popular little duck pond and gave out lucky dip prizes to keep the kids entertained whilst their parents tried to get their hands on some tasty wine or rum!
