Old and New
This house is full of personality and charm thanks to numerous traditional features. Beautiful exposed beams and brick fireplaces in the open-plan kitchen/living space are perfectly complemented by eclectic antique accessories and a Victorian Chesterfield sofa.
Cooks can indulge their passion in this spectacular kitchen. Style and functionality are seamlessly blended here, with bespoke contemporary units as well as a massive Aga with four ovens, two hot plates, and a warming plate. There’s also a two ring induction hob and electric oven for ‘overspill’, and the central island gives ample space for food prep, with a built-in six-shelf fridge and three drawer freezers.
The long table with five chairs and a bench sets the scene for informal dining, with the wood burner sure to keep you cosy in the cooler months.
On winter days, the charmingly cosy sitting-room is the only place you’ll want to be. As the evening draws in, cosy-up in front of the TV or play a board game with the fire going in the wood burner.
Perfect for Families
Place Farm House really is a delight for little guests. They won’t take long to discover the fun-filled play-room that has a gigantic blackboard, kids table and benches, cute dolls house, mini kitchen, train tracks, Lego, and drawers heaving with toys and games. This magical room even has a secret door leading to the second set of stairs. There’s a large squashy sofa for adults allowed to join the fun.
When the weather permits, kids can let off steam in the 0.75 acre garden with a climbing frame. Supervising parents can enjoy drinks on the terrace where the whole family can also come together for dinner under expansive skies.
Spending a night in one of the three bedrooms is a real treat. Soft colours and antique furniture create a tranquil atmosphere in this farm house for families, and comfy beds ensure you’ll wake up well-rested.
Both bathrooms are light and airy, with luxurious large baths taking centre-stage.
The charming village is well-equipped with two pubs and a farm shop. Head to The Wooster’s award-winning bakery that sells traditional and artisan bread, cakes and pastries to pick-up some delicious breakfast.
