The Old House Cottage is on Southwold's High Street with its delis and shops as well as being a short walk from the sea front and green.
This property is available to let either separately or in conjunction with the adjoining The Old House, providing potentially linked accomodation to sleep up to 10 – ideal for family celebrations.
GROUND FLOOR: From the High Street, a private alley takes you to the main door of the property, through which you enter into the kitchen. This space is great for storing bicycles or pushchairs should you bring these with you.
KITCHEN: The modern kitchen is well appointed and makes excellent use of the space with good working surfaces as well as a small dining table for two. A door to the fairly steep, wooden stairs opens from the kitchen.
LIVING ROOM: The stylish living room has comfortable seating with a sofa and armchair to relax in front of the flat screen television or curl up with a book in front of the fire.
BEDROOM: On the first floor is a good sized bedroom with a king-size bed and a large built in wardrobe for storage.
BATHROOM: The bathroom is modern and finished to a high standard with a full length bath, separate shower, W.C. and hand basin.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
The Old House Cottage is equipped with gas central heating and wood burning fire. Appliances include flat screen TVs with SKY channels, DVD player, and an iPod docking station. In the kitchen there is an electric oven and induction hobs. WiFi internet is available.
A travel cot and high chair are available on request at time of booking.
This self catering holiday cottage in Southwold is located in a terrace of houses, a short walk from the town's popular shops, cafes and delis.
The sandy beach at Southwold is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold Pier at one end and towards Southwold Harbour at the other end the town boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries.
There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fish huts along the harbour. Southwold is home to the Adnams Brewery and the town's excellent pubs include one of our personal favourites, The Lord Nelson where you can try a range of Adnams bitters.

A well-behaved dog can be accommodated on request at the time of booking, must be restricted to the ground floor and is subject to our terms and conditions.
Children are welcome however the stairs are inkeeping with the nature of the proeprty and are quite steep with a turn. There is a handrail and the stairs are wooden.
Please note that there is no off road parking available with this property, but with plenty of on road parking options nearby, and easy access to the High Street we hope you won't miss it!
