The Haven at Coastguard Court at Aldeburgh

Located at the end of Aldeburgh's vibrant high street close to The Brudenell hotel and restaurant, The Haven offers first and second, floor self catering accommodation for up to four guests in two double bedrooms, both with en suite.

The apartment has a double length allocated parking space and further unrestricted parking can be found on the high street or side lanes. The owners have provided a large bench on the South facing balcony for guests to enjoy the morning sunrise and the view of the marshes in the opposite direction.

Sheltered external stairs rise to the balcony space at the front of the apartment and the front door leads in to a small porch with the living/dining room through a door to the left and the stairs to the master bedroom with en suite, ahead of you. The second bedroom with en suite bathroom is positioned off the living room, as is the kitchen. The living room and bedrooms are carpeted and the apartment benefits from central heating with adjustable radiators in each room.

A compact room with all the appliances needed for cooking and dining at home. It's a bright room with a huge skylight over head and good lighting. There's an integrated oven with grill and a ceramic two ring hob with extractor over. Beside this is a large fridge with two drawer freezer. The kitchen features a slim line dishwasher, a washing machine and the cupboards are packed with all the necessary crockery and utensils.

Living/Dining Room
With a lovely large window, the living/dining room is snug with a two seater sofa and two arm chairs for guests to relax and enjoy each others company or watch the flat screen smart TV with built in DVD player, which is positioned on the wall. The circular gate leg table with four chairs sits neatly in the alcove under the stairs. The owners have collected a variety of books, games and DVDs for guests to enjoy and the artwork in the room has been thoughtfully selected to support and promote local artists.

Double Bedroom
A door from the living room leads through to the double bedroom. With two large windows it's another light and bright room with a solid wooden double bed placed between bedside tables with lamps. Guests have lots of storage for their belongings in the built in wardrobes with sliding doors and a chest of drawers.

En Suite Bathroom
This well proportioned bathroom has a modern white suite. The large bath with shower over and glass screen offers choice and comfort. There's plenty of storage space on a shelf or in the vanity unit with basin and there's a WC and a radiator.

Master Bedroom
Up the carpeted stairs with hand rail and bannister, the master bedroom occupies the entire second floor, in the eaves of the building. The owners have made the most of the sea view from the window by providing a high shelf and bar stools so that guests can enjoy the sunrise with their morning coffee. The king sized bed sits centrally at one end between bedside tables with drawers and lamps. Plenty of storage is provided on a hanging rail and chest of drawers. The owners have also provided a tumble dryer which is located in an alcove cupboard in the master bedroom, as there is no outside space for drying washing.

En Suite Shower Room
The master bedroom benefits from a newly installed en suite shower room with large heated towel rail, offering groups of two couples their own private spaces to get ready for a day of sight seeing, beach activity or perhaps supper out.

Outside the front of The Haven, overlooking Coastguard Court is a railed balcony space with a large bench. During the summer months it's sunny all day long and even in the winter you can watch the sun rise over the sea from here. There is double length allocated parking space with the apartment and further unrestricted roadside parking can be found close by.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self-catering apartment is equipped with a single electric oven with grill and two ring ceramic hob above, a fridge with two drawer freezer, washing machine and dryer in the master bedroom and free standing microwave. There's a smart TV with built in DVD player in the living room and WIFI is provided. Both bedrooms have DAB radios, hair dryers, warm duvets and a spare blanket.

This apartment is positioned at the south end of the High Street, parallel to the Brudenell Hotel so ideal to pop round for a snack on the sea facing terrace or an evening meal at the stylish restaurant. The pebble beach is literally a pebble's throw away and a short stroll up the High Street brings you to Aldeburgh's popular shops, cafes and restaurants.

There are wonderful walks along the coast to Thorpeness passing the famous Scallop shell sculpture to the north or to the Martello Tower to the south; plus pretty walks around the nearby Aldeburgh Marshes and to Snape, just five miles away, with its renowned concert hall, Aldeburgh Music, plus the Maltings with a variety of shops including kitchen, home ware, delicatessen, clothing, furniture and antiques.
