The Cottage is a beautifully renovated semi-detached 16th century farmhouse, which has been sympathetically divided into two luxury holiday cottages, overlooking six acres of meadows, fields and neighbouring farmland. The property has undergone an extensive two year restoration project with the main aim of preserving it's history and immense character. Those techniques included renovating the original fireplaces, restoring the period brickwork and replacing the windows with exactly matched replicas, while using lime morters and period building materials throughout.
Guests enter via the sitting room, with it's restored inglenook fireplace - complete with wood burning stove. The kitchen/diner has bespoke handmade kitchen units and brick floor together with furniture handmade specifically for The Cottage. Up the cottage stairs, is the bedroom with handmade king sized bed and large window offering stunning views over six acre gardens and farmland beyond. The en-suite bathroom is a nod to modern luxury, with a freestanding roll top bath and separate shower.
Outside the property enjoys private gardens, which include a south facing fully paved patio, and lawns overlooking a picturesque pond, there is also ample parking for two cars. Guests will also benefit from the use of the six acre grounds surrounding The Cottage.

OUTSIDE - The property is approached over a shared drive with two other holiday cottages. The drive will take you past the other two cottages (The Seed Store and The Cross Wing) and lead you to private parking for two cars next to The Cottage. A gate opens to a private garden which is partly laid to lawn and features a south facing fully paved sun terrace with garden furniture including outside table and chairs. The sun terrace enjoys stunning views over the adjoining meadows which feature a range of native hedging, trees and grazing livestock. Guests will also have access to walks around these fields, along with guests from the other two cottages.
All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and nibbles to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.
This stylish self-catering cottage is equipped with gas central heating and an open fire. Appliances include a flat screen TV. In the kitchen there is a four-ring ceramic hob, a microwave and integrated appliances including: electric oven, fridge, freezer, and slim-line dishwasher.
A travel cot and high chair are available on request at the time of booking.
This self-catering Suffolk country holiday accommodation is within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast as well as being an ideal location from which to explore east Suffolk's villages and market towns. It is located between Peasenhall and Badingham on the Suffolk tourist route, around four miles from the market town of Framlingham.

This holiday cottage is situated close to a main road and so some traffic noise can be heard. However the outside seating areas and 6 acres of meadow give you a feeling of plenty of space away from it.
Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
