The Cottage is a unique and lovingly restored detached holiday home, nestled in a peaceful rural Suffolk hamlet.The property itself has been in the owners family since the 1920's, and as such is full of character. The property has been carefully furnished with an array of simply beautiful antique and modern furniture, and houses some intresting items. On the ground floor is a large open-plan kitchen/breakfast room, dining room, sitting room, library, conservatory and shower room. There are two separate staircases taking you up to differentparts of the house. On the first floor are three bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The outdoor space is a paradise just waiting to be explored. A large garden laid to lawn awaits, with a metal bridge leading over to the communal meadow. The surrounding area is threaded with quiet country lanes, perfect for walkers, cyclists and those looking to enjoy nature.

Ground Floor
Entering into the main lobby area, with stairs in front and doorway to your left leading you into the main accommodation.

Kitchen/Breakfast Room
A spacious traditional cottage kitchen awaits. Fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, including an electric oven with four ring hob, 50/50 fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster.

There is a beautiful wooden table seating 6 positioned in the kitchen, perfect for an informal breakfast or spot of lunch.

Conservatory
A stable door leads through from the kitchen. Sit and enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine whilst taking in the absolutely idyllic views across the countryside, the perfect position to watch the wildlife.

Dining Room
Positioned between the sitting room and kitchen, with views across the garden. A gorgeous antique dining table seating 6 awaits.

Sitting Room
Sit back and relax in front of the open fire! A charming room full of character awaits, with comfortable seating and TV with Freeview to enjoy. A small passage leads through to the Library.

Library/Study
Adorned with every book imaginable - a keen readers dream. There is an array of comfortable seating available, whilst reading your preferred novel. There is a antique wooden desk in the corner, for those that need to do a spot of work or studying.

Shower Room
A perfectly proportioned room, with shower cubical, wash basin and WC.

First Floor
The Cottage has two sets on stairs leading up to the first floor, traditional cottage stairs lead from the kitchen up to the twin bedroom. A second set of stairs leads from the entrance hall up to the first floor landing.

Bedroom 1
A step leads up to Bedroom one, with it's beautiful vaulted beamed ceiling and views across the surrounding fields. This quirky room features a double bed with bedside tables and lamps. There are two chest of drawers for your belongings. Bedroom 1 benefits from a small TV with Freeview. Please note due to the age of the cottage, the floor is uneven.

Jack and Jill Bathroom
Accessible via bedroom 1 and 2. Featuring a bath with overhead shower, wash basin and WC.

Bedroom 2
With garden views, this room offers a wooden double bed with exposed brick wall behind, A secret passage leads through to bedroom 3.

Bedroom 3
A spacious room with two full single beds, with bedside table and lamp in between. There is a chest of drawers for your belongings. the beautiful exposed brick wall is very much a feature of this room.

Outside
A large garden laid to lawn awaits, with a metal bridge leading over to the communal meadow.There is a secluded courtyard garden located from the conservatory, perfect for dining alfresco. The surrounding area is threaded with quiet country lanes, perfect for walkers, cyclists and those looking to enjoy nature.

Parking is available on the shared driveway.

Robin's Nest
The property is located on the site of three properties, which subject to availability can all be booked in conjunction with each other. The other properties on site are The Carpenters Shop and Wheelwrights.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, oil heating and electricity, along with a welcome pack to get your holiday started.

This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include two TV's all with Freeview and WIFI. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven with four ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine.

A well-behaved dog is welcome. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Please note there is a shallow stream near the property in the wet weather.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance is due six weeks before your holiday commences.
