The Cottage at Dennington

The Cottage is ideal for socialising with family and friends with a spacious living/kitchen/breakfast room sitting at the heart and a more formal dining room with wood burner and cosy living room with open fire to enjoy in the evenings. The large master bedroom sits at the front on the first floor with super light en suite shower room, as well as three other bedrooms plus the attractive family bathroom overlooking the garden.

Guests are sure to enjoy the large garden, fully enclosed with plenty of room for kids to play on the lawn and adults to relax on the patio, furnished with outdoor table and chairs plus a BBQ for long lazy lunches. There’s ample parking for four cars on the gravel drive at the side of the house.

Ground floor:
A lovely large kitchen/family/breakfast room sits at the heart of The Cottage with living room, dining room and utility rooms opening off, together with a cloakroom on the ground floor. Doors open from the drive, the front garden and double doors to the patio at the back. There’s hard flooring through most of the ground floor with carpet in the dining and living rooms.

Kitchen/Breakfast Room
Spacious and light, this sociable L shaped room is sure to be at the heart of your holiday. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven at waist height and separate grill, dishwasher, under counter fridge and separate three drawer freezer; a large pantry is stacked with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

A huge farmhouse style table with eight chairs sits next to the kitchen for informal meals with the lovely light sitting area adjacent with two generous sofas and coffee table, an electric wood burner to take the chill off in the winter and double doors to the patio for meals in the open during the summer.

Sitting Room
Sitting at the front of the house with doors from the breakfast area and to the front hall, this cosy room is furnished with a couple of comfy sofas, dresser, occasional tables and rocking chair by the open fire. Entertainment’s provided with a TV with FreeSat, Blueray and X Box with games for you to enjoy.

Dining Room
Perfect for celebration dinners with wood burner set into the feature brick wall and gorgeous tapestry hanging from the wall opposite the bay window overlooking the front garden. An extending mahogany table with eight chairs is ideal for entertaining and there’s a side table and chest of drawers. The room’s accessed from the kitchen and the front hall/living room.

Utility Room
Located off the entrance hall, this is a great space for beach, sailing or walking gear with a butlers’ sink, washing machine, dryer plus an additional under counter fridge and microwave.

Conveniently located for all ground floor areas, with WC and wash basin.

First floor
Carpeted stairs rise from the kitchen to the first floor landing where all four bedrooms and the family bathroom are. All the bedrooms are carpeted with lino on the bathroom floors.

Master Bedroom
Super large bedroom with window overlooking the front of the cottage and ornamental fireplace. A king size bed takes centre stage with bedside drawers, shelves and a built in wardrobe.

A charming large shower room with corner shower, wash basin, WC and light streams in from windows on three sides.

Also sitting at the front of the cottage, this bright bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables and bags of storage in built in wardrobes.

Family Bathroom
A big bathroom overlooking the garden. The bath has an electric shower over with screen as well as a hand shower and there’s a wash basin and WC.

There’s ample parking for four cars on the gravel drive at the side of the house with a gate to the garden and door into the entrance hall. The garden is a great asset here, fully enclosed and mainly laid to lawn with some well established shrubs shielding you from the neighbouring properties. A spacious patio, furnished with large table and chairs, invites you to enjoy long lazy lunches while the kids play and there are some games, charcoal BBQ and extra chairs stored in the sun house. At there front there’s a manicured garden with gate to the communal car park and The Queen Inn.

There’s a washing machine, dryer, microwave and additional storage in an under counter fridge in the utility room.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
This self-catering Suffolk country holiday accommodation is within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast as well as being an ideal location from which to explore east Suffolk's villages and market towns. It is located between Dennington and Badingham on the Suffolk tourist route, around four miles from the market town of Framlingham.
