Southwold Ahoy at Reydon

A large entrance hall gives plenty of space for your belongings and access to the three pretty bedrooms and bathroom, with stairs to the first-floor landing. Both the kitchen/dining room and living room have wonderful views to Southwold.

The garden is an added bonus, accessed by a path from the drive or through double doors in the master bedroom, with two south facing seating areas. You’re close enough to walk into Southwold but can also relax in the knowledge that you have an allocated parking space.

Ground floor
You’re welcomed into the hall of this upside down house, with a shoe rack and hooks for your coats, giving access to the three bedrooms (all with high-quality hypnos/relyon beds), bathroom and stairs to the first floor. Double doors open off the master bedroom to the patio garden.

Master Bedroom
A sunny room with double doors to the garden. The bed is a super king zip and link, giving you the option of twin or super king configuration. Bedside drawers sit on either side, there’s a DAB Radio and ample storage in built in wardrobes with shelves and hanging space, plus an inviting leather armchair.

En-Suite Shower Room
Shower cubicle with power shower (step up), WC, wash basin and heated towel rail.

Double Bedroom
At the back of Southwold Ahoy, another sunny and bright room overlooking the garden. This room’s furnished with a king size bed, bedside units, DAB Radio, wardrobe with additional drawers and a stool.

Twin Bedroom
Sitting at the front of the house, the twin beds have a small bedside unit between them with a DAB Radio, and there’s a tall boy as well as a wardrobe with additional drawers.

Bathroom
Big bathroom with P shaped bath which has an adjustable power shower and shower screen, wash basin with storage cupboard, WC and heated towel rail.

First floor
Wide carpeted stairs rise from the entrance hall to a large first-floor landing with the kitchen, living room and spacious cloakroom opening off it. The kitchen, living room and cloakroom have hard flooring and there are double doors from the living room to a balcony with great views to Southwold.

Kitchen/Dining Room
A sociable space with kitchen wrapping around two sides, a central bar and dining area with long table and six chairs sitting under the window, so you can enjoy the view.

The kitchen is well equipped with a Siemans oven, separate grill, four gas ring hob with extractor, four shelf fridge and four drawer freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and free standing microwave.

Living Room
This light and airy room has double doors onto the wooden deck where you can look across the fields to the colourful Southwold beach huts on the horizon. A generous sofa takes pride of place in the centre of the room with additional seating in a double love seat, directors chairs and bean bag, plus lots of coffee tables, a TV unit with wide flat screen TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs, bookcase well stocked with novels, reference books, CD Player, good selection of games and even a basket with blankets so you can sit outside on a chilly evening.

Cloakroom
Conveniently off the landing so you don’t have to go downstairs; with WC and wash basin.

Outside
The location of this terraced holiday home is excellent, next to Mights Bridge which separates Southwold from Reydon, and you can see the colourful beach huts from the balcony to one side and the water tower on the other. In addition to the deck with room to sit and enjoy the view, there’s a courtyard style garden, accessed from the master bedroom or path running down the side of the house, which is a combination of shingle and paving with two sitting areas, bordered by a picket fence and lavender. A gate in the fence leads to a path running round to the parking area. There is allocated parking for one car close to the house and additional on-street visitors parking nearby.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of fizz and other goodies to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a TV with FreeSat, DVD and CD player, DAB radios in each bedroom and Wifi.

The kitchen is well equipped with a Siemans oven, separate grill, gas hob, extractor, four shelf fridge, three drawer freezer beneath, dishwasher, washing machine and free standing microwave.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

This mews house is part of a select development situated in arguably the best spot in Reydon, next to Mights Bridge which links Reydon with the popular coastal town of Southwold with excellent range of independent shops, cinema, a supermarket, pubs, restaurants and take-aways as well as the iconic pier and lighthouse, picturesque beaches, golf courses and sailing opportunities. The village itself has a local shop and pub too.

A short drive, or healthy walk away is the pretty village of Walberswick with more gastro pubs to choose from and there are more stunning forest walks in Dunwich and the award winning bird reserve at Minsmere.
