There are wonderful walks along the coast to Thorpeness passing the famous Scallop shell sculpture to the north or to the Martello Tower to the south; plus pretty walks around the nearby Aldeburgh Marshes and to Snape, just five miles away, with its renowned concert hall, Aldeburgh Music, plus the Maltings with a variety of shops including kitchen, homeware, delicatessen, clothing, furniture and antiques.
A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs and not on the sofas. The patio has a gate and low wall at the front so you will need to keep an eye on your pet. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.
