Snape Maltings, the home of the famous Aldeburgh Music Festival is about five miles away. Alongside the concert hall there are a variety of shops including, Kitchen, home ware and delicatessen.
Thorpeness, a wonderfully quirky little village characterized by beautiful mock Tudor buildings, a Peter-Pan inspired boating lake and the dreamy House in the Clouds, can be seen from Sea Crest and there’s a path along the old railway or along the coast, making it a great place for lunch.
