Scotts is located on a private estate on the outskirts of the village of Reydon, so it’s a quiet cottage and has off road parking directly in front of the cottage.
Guests are welcomed into the hall with terracotta tiled floor and carpeted stairs rising to the first floor. Doors open to the kitchen, living room and cloakroom.

Entertainment’s provided with a 27 inch TV with Freesat and IPlayer, DAB radio/ipod dock and a Blue Ray DVD player. A selection of CDs, DVDs, books, games and a play station which can play DVDs are all provided.
A light shaker style kitchen equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, three drawer freezer and there’s a BBQ for summer months.

Carpeted stairs rise from the hall to the first floor landing where there’s a bookcase stacked with reading and reference material for you to enjoy. Doors open to both bedrooms and the bathroom.

Scotts Cottage is In a quite location on the outskirts of the village of Reydon, approximately a 20 minute walk from the popular seaside town of Southwold, making it the ideal base for those wanting a traditional seaside holiday with a bolt hole away from the crowds.
The village of Reydon offers two shops, the Randolph Hotel, serving very good food and it’s only a ten-minute drive to the sandy beach at Walberswick, forest walks at Dunwich and RSPB Bird Reserve at Minsmere. Boat trips, sailing and golf are all available from Southwold, as is a bit of retail therapy and a choice of excellent places to eat.
A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

The beach hut “Jabba” is not included in the letting price, however guests booking Scott’s Cottage have the option to book this iconic beach hut (subject to availability) close to Southwold Pier. We recommend that you contact us as soon as possible after you’ve booked the cottage to check the availability and book Jabba if you’d like to as it is also marketed separately and might not still be available if you wait.
Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
