A couple of steps take you to the split-level landing where a door opens to this pretty bedroom with ornamental fireplace, overlooking Crabbe Street. There’s a small bedside unit with drawers, storage in a large wardrobe with shelves, hanging and drawer space.

A pretty landscaped garden at the front of the house is divided into two with Runton guests having use of the top area with pretty perfola, table and chairs for relaxing in the sea air. There’s also a balcony off the living room with space for a couple of chairs so you can enjoy your morning coffee and watch the world go by.
The entrance is through a gate off Crabbe Street and a short path leads to the front door.
Guests will be able to park on roads close by; directly outside the house is restricted but convenient for a couple of hours or overnight, and there’s unrestricted parking near the White Lion Hotel.

This self-catering holiday apartment is equipped with central heating and appliances include a Smart TV in the living room and additional TV in the King Bedroom and Wifi. The kitchen is well equipped with a Neff oven/grill and built in microwave, five gas rings hob above, a large five-shelf fridge and 2.5 drawer freezer beneath, dishwasher and washing machine. There’s also a dryer in the garage, which you’re welcome to use.
A travel cot is available upon request at the time of booking. Babes in arms are welcome but no children under the age of ten.
This wonderful duplex holiday house is in one of the best locations, close to everything in the vibrant and colourful town of Aldeburgh. Literally on the promenade, adjacent to the boating pond, the historic Moot Hall and fish huts which run along the seafront; also a couple of minutes walk to the town centre with an excellent range of restaurants, pubs, takeaways, independent shops, galleries and an independent cinema.
There is a wonderful walk from the front door, along the coast to Thorpeness, passing the famous Scallop shell sculpture, plus pretty walks around the nearby Aldeburgh Marshes and along Sailors Path to Snape with it’s renowned Aldeburgh Music for those looking for some culture and Snape Maltings for a touch of retail therapy!
For the sporty, there are tennis courts; nine hole and 18 hole golf courses (rated as one of the top 100 in the UK) in Aldeburgh and, for those who enjoy birdwatching, boat trips are available on the River Alde and RSPB Minsmere is close by. There are also tennis courts and a golf course in Thorpeness and plenty of easy cycle routes around the county.
The garden running along the front of the house is split level, with the upper section exclusively for your use and the lower section, separated by plants, is for the use of guests in the apartment below. Passers-by can look over the wall separating the garden from Crag Path so it's not 100% private but you're sure to feel privileged sitting in such a prime location!
This impressive Edwardian house has a ‘flying freehold’ so there may be an element of noise from below and we ask you to respect your neighbours.
