There are wooden floors throughout the majority of the ground floor with slate tiles in the bathrooms, and painted wooden stairs rising to the twin bedroom. The master bedroom and both bathrooms are also on the ground floor off an inner hall.

There’s ample space to park a couple of cars next to Polly’s Yard with a short walk to a gate opening into the west-facing patio where doors open into both the kitchen and living areas. There are a couple of tables and chairs for you to use at this side of the house plus a charcoal BBQ and an east-facing courtyard on the other side with table and chairs - a great spot for breakfast. The garden’s enclosed with raised beds with lavender bordering the lawn, a copse in the corner and fields beyond. Small dogs may be able to get through the fence into the fields so we recommend that you supervise them and the courtyard at the front isn't fully enclosed.

The Dennington Queen dates back to the 16th
century and has a reputation for making everyone feel welcome with an unpretentious approach to eating out. It's approximately a 20 minute walk from the property across a field footpath and was re-launched in the spring of 2008 after extensive refurbishment. The beautiful decked area at the rear is a perfect setting for a light lunch, a la carte meal or famous Sunday roast.
The White Horse at Badingham is an old 15th century coaching inn, with open fires, pan tiled floors and exposed oak beams. It is a delightful old village pub, which serves good-home cooked food in a cosy Inn environment.
The Church of St Mary is a well worth a visit, dominating the centre of the village with some parts dating back to mediaeval times and this self-catering Suffolk country holiday accommodation is within easy reach of the Suffolk Coast as well as being an ideal location from which to explore east Suffolk's villages and market towns, including Framingham with it’s majestic castle just four miles away.
This semi-detached holiday home is very private, shielded from the road by high hedges however there is some traffic noise.
Polly’s Yard is well suited to guests in a wheelchair due to the ramp which runs from the parking area to the patio and wide door with small lip into the living space. The master bedroom is accessible with a wheelchair and the wet room with low toilet that can accommodate a commode, however, there are no grab rails in the bathroom.
This semi-detached holiday home is near the owners' house and adjacent to another property, designed so that you can all enjoy total privacy. The garden’s enclosed however there is a fence into the adjacent field so small dogs may be able to go under it. The courtyard is secluded but has an opening into the owners' drive so dogs must be kept on a lead.
The mezzanine bedroom is linked to the living area by a staircase with no doors between the two. Polly's Yard is a wonderfully light house which is not overlooked by neighbours; the majority of the windows have blackout blinds however there is a small window tucked away in an alcove high above the master bedroom which will allow a little light in.
