Sitting in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Aldeburgh, with a gorgeous south facing garden and patios where adults can dine alfresco and children can play, this detached dormer bungalow is ideal for a relaxing seaside break. Interiors have a casual coastal theme with wooden floors throughout and the majority of the accommodation on the ground floor, making it well suited for young children and guests with a mobility problem.

The spacious living room is great at any time fo the year, with cosy open fire for the winter and adjacent conservatory - wonderful in the spring and summer with a dining table as an alternative to eating in the family style kitchen with handy utility room next door. A double bedroom at the front has an en-suite wet room; the twin and kids room (with bunk beds and child bed) each have doors to the shared bathroom and the master suite on the first floor is wonderfully spacious with feature bath and shower.

Pinewood's enclosed garden is a real treat for a property so close to the heart of this picturesque town. Patios are furnished with tables and chairs so you can dine in the sunshine or simply sit back with a good book and there's bags of space for the children and/or dogs to run around. The house is set back from the road with a gravel drive and space for up to four cars.

Ground Floor
The hall sits at the heart of the house with rooms to either side and wooden floors other than in the conservatory which has stone floors.

Kitchen/Dining Room
A sociable kitchen with dining table and eight chairs to the left next to the stairs and the kitchen to the right. Equipment includes an Aga oven plus an electric oven with ceramic hob with four rings, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher.

Living Room
Perfect at any time of the year with double doors opening into the conservatory and an open fire for cooler months. The room's furnished with two x two seater sofas, an armchair, an open fire, handsome dresser and entertainment in an iPod docking station, a flat-screen TV with Freesat channels and a DVD player.

Conservatory
A great addition to the house with double doors to one patio and a single door to the 'dining' patio with garden beyond. There are steps down and a long table with chairs so you can dine in here if you prefer.

Utility Room
A useful room with a washing machine, a tumble dryer and door to the drive - ideal when you come home from the beach!

Cloakroom
The cloakroom has a W.C. and a hand basin.

Double Bedroom
A super sunny room overlooking the garden with king size bed, bedside drawers and bags of storage in a large wardrobe plus chest of drawers and dressing table.

Effectively an en-suite for the twin and bunk bedrooms with doors from each and a step down. The bath has an adjustable hand shower with shower screen, hand basin and a W.C.

First Floor
A flight of oak stairs stairs leads you up to the first floor.

Master Bedroom
The super king size bed takes pride of place in this lovely bright bedroom with dormer windows overlooking the garden. Butlers' tables sit to either side of the bed and there's storage in the wardrobe and chest of drawers, plus a sturdy wooden cot.

En-suite Bathroom
Lovely big bathroom with feature claw foot bath plus a shower cubicle, WC, wash basin, window giving natural light and heated towel rail.

Outside
This enclosed garden at this holiday home is a key selling point, sitting quietly at the rear of the property with two decked patios opening off the conservatory; one with woven loungers and armchair. the other for a;alfresco dining with an outside heater, table and chairs. The lawn extends beyond the patios giving ample place for running around and ball games, with great views of the fields beyond. At the front of the property is a private driveway with parking for up to 4 cars as well as unrestricted on-road parking.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

The property is equipped with gas central heating throughout, flat screen TV with built in Freeview channels, DVD player, iPod docking station, large range style oven, electric oven, 4 ceramic ring hob, dishwasher, fridge/freeze, BBQ and microwave. Wifi is available.

A travel cot and a high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking, there's also a sturdy wooden cot in the master bedroom, please remember to bring your own linen.

This Suffolk holiday home is located close to Aldeburgh Golf Club, set back on the right from Saxmundham Road, running into this picturesque seaside town. There are easy walks down to the beach and the heart of the town, approximately a 15 minute walk, where you'll find excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and a wide range of independent shops, convenience stores, art galleries and huts along the beach where local fishermen sell their wares.

The picture-postcard village of Thorpeness and world-renowned Snape Maltings are also great places to visit nearby. The area is excellent for cycling, sailing or golf and there are many interesting walks, including Hazelwood Marshes and the Sailors’ Path which starts approximately ten minutes walk from the house, and boasts some of the finest lowland marsh and heathland scenery to be found in the British Isles.

A well-behaved dog can be accommodated on request at the time of booking, must be restricted to the ground floor and is subject to our terms and conditions.

Children are welcome.
