Pebbles Cottage is a mid-terrace holiday cottage with a spacious paved courtyard garden that is fully enclosed by a painted fence giving complete privacy, with access also available via a gate to rear walkway. There is cast metal table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the Suffolk sunshine.
There is no allocated parking, however guests can offload outside the cottage where there are single yellow lines, and park in nearby car parks on York Road, Godyll Road and The Common, where short stay passes are available, or on a nearby road where there is unrestricted parking.

17 Church Street is located just a few minutes walk from Southwold high street which has a great choice of excellent restaurants and cafes, as well as a range of galleries and independent shops, including bakeries, delicatessens, butchers and convenience stores. Home to Adnams Brewery, the town boasts many great pubs, including The Lord Nelson where you can try a range of Adnams bitters.
Southwold’s sandy beach is a couple of minutes away, adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to Southwold Pier at one end and towards Southwold Harbour at the other end.
There is a pretty walk through the harbour and over a footbridge to the picture-postcard village of Walberswick, home to two good pubs (The Anchor and The Bell) and a long sandy beach. Fresh fish can be bought from the fishermen’s huts along the harbour.
A short drive away is one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets, the stunning Covehithe beach, This can only be accessed on foot or by cycle. There is on street parking near to the church and a clearly marked footpath opposite which takes you through fields to the dunes, a short scramble down and you are on the beautiful beach. Not an ice cream seller in sight and no facilities as such but well worth a visit if you are after a secluded spot to take in the scenery and paddle in the sea. A favourite with dog walkers too.
An exciting day out for the family is Africa Alive. Set in 100 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Africa Alive has five species of African savannah animals including giraffes and lions. The park is also home to some rather amazing primates including bushbabies and the rare golden-bellied mangabeys. There are great indoor and outdoor adventure play areas as well as restaurants, free parking and a gift shop.
