This beautiful art-deco style house is wonderfully light and spacious, with panoramic views across the broads. Steps lead up to the property, which is then all on one level, with steps down into the main garden. The property boasts a spacious living area and garden room with water views, dining room, kitchen and three spacious bedrooms - two with en-suites. There is ample off road parking for four cars.

"The owners are wonderful hosts. They asked us to call them anytime with any queries or even to ask for advice concerning the local area. The fridge was stocked up with essentials. Bread, butter, milk plus two bottles of wine which was a very nice touch, as well as crisps and biscuits. The location was amazing. Right on Oulton Broad. So picturesque it was really something special. Two minutes away on the opposite side of the lake you have pubs, restaurants and cafes serving really delicious food. You could easily walk it. The house itself was brilliant with amazing views and a beautiful back garden. Superb veranda overlooking the water, comfortable and massive living room with even bigger TV. Fantastic kitchen with literally everything you could possibly need to make a meal. I’ve probably missed lots of good stuff out about our wonderful stay in Parkmead but all I can add is that we felt a bit like Lord and Lady of the manor so I would just like to say thank you. We loved it."

Parkmead at Oulton Broad

Parkmead is an incredible architecturally designed waterfront house located in Oulton Broad. This beautiful art-deco style house is wonderfully light and spacious, with panoramic views across the broads. Steps lead up to the property, which is then all on one level, with steps down into the main garden. The property boasts a spacious living area and garden room with water views, dining room, kitchen and three spacious bedrooms - two with en-suites. There is ample off road parking for four cars.

Ground Floor
Steps lead up to the main floor, which is then all on one level, with the exception of steps down into the garden.

Kitchen
Light fills this room from the courtyard garden area. This galley kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm, an oven with four ring electric hob and extractor fan above, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine, perfect for coffee lovers.

Dining Room and Courtyard Garden
With high vaulted ceilings, and french doors leading into the secluded courtyard garden. There is a large glass table comfortably seating four guests. In the warmer weather you can enjoy the secluded courtyard garden and dine alfresco - all in easy reach of the kitchen.

Sitting Room
A room we can envisage you spending the most for your time in, with the most incredible views on offer. Whether it is sunny, raining or even just watching the amazing sunsets on offer - this room is one to be enjoyed all year round. There is a large stylish L-shaped sofa, with separate reclining arm chair. When you are not enjoying the views, you can enjoy the 60'' OLED Smart TV on offer.

Garden Room
Located off both the living room and bedroom 1. An ideal space for those looking to enjoy a little peace and quiet, with a good book and cup of tea. There is access out onto the balcony area.

Bedroom 1
Accessible from the dining room and garden room. This wonderful spacious room features water view. There is a super-king bed with bedside tables and side lamps. There is a vast amount of built-in wardrobe space for your belongings.

En-suite Bathroom with Shower
An original art-deco style bathroom. Featuring a large bath, walk in shower cubicle, basin with mirror above, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 2
With river views, this room has a metal framed king size bed with bedside tables and lamps. There is an open en-suite with shower cubical and wash basin with mirror above.

Cloakroom
Positioned next to Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. With a WC.

Bedroom 3
With views across the front garden. This room features a double bed with bedside table and lamp. There is a built in wardrobe for your belongings. This room also has the addition of a TV.

Outside
This property benefits from a large array of outdoor space. Off the dining room is a small secluded courtyard garden with bistro table and four chairs. On the balcony is the addition of another bistro table and four chairs, the most perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine whilst capturing the sunsets on offer. Steps lead from the balcony down to the long mature garden area, with is mostly laid to lawn, with flower beds. Please note the garden is not secure, and access to the water is open.

The mature garden leads down to the private slipway and mooring offering access to the water for paddle boarding and canoeing. Please ensure you hold the correct licenses when accessing the water. Entry to the water is at your own risk. If you are looking to explore the broads further, then small motor boats can be hired locally from a number of reputable companies.

At the front of the property is off road parking for up to four cars.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This lovely detached self-catering holiday home is equipped with oil central heating and appliances include a 60'' OLED Smart TV and bluetooth speaker. In the kitchen there is an oven with four ring electric hob and extractor fan above, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.
The main heart of Oulton Broad is just a 10-15 minute walk away, along the banks of the Broads. Within Oulton Broad boasts a vast array of wonderful places to eat and drink, with a few offering spectacular views.In addition to the eateries there are many parks, museum and water sports centre to enjoy.
Sorry, no pets, smoking or unaccompanied teenagers.

Please note the garden is not secure and access to the water is open. Entry to the broads is at your own risk. If you are using the Broads please ensure you have the correct lisence.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
