Old Valley Farm is a stunning Grade II listed 17th Century farmhouse which has been newly refurbished to create a beautiful pet friendly holiday home in the heart of Walberswick.

The house (the older half of Valley Farm) is a stone’s throw from the beach, next door to the excellent Bell Inn and 100m from the shops, tea room and playground on the village green

The perfect seaside retreat for both family and friends to to enjoy, the property has a flexible layout with five bedrooms and three bathrooms, three bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house and two bedrooms and one bathroom in the Garden Studio. Old Valley Farm has been renovated and decorated to an incredibly high standard, maintaining the stunning period features including the exposed beams and original doors, whilst furnishing with beautiful traditional and contemporary items.

Ground Floor
The ground floor has been designed to create the perfect self-catering experience.

Cloakroom
Ideally positioned off the main hallway, with WC and wash basin.

Kitchen
This bright and spacious kitchen with views onto the garden is a kitchen of dreams, with bespoke units, stone worktops and limestone flooring. The kitchen has all of the mod cons you could need with an American style fridge-freezer, Miele dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven with induction hob, and a Lavazza espresso coffee machine.

Dining Room
With french doors opening out into the garden, this gorgeous room with large table seating 10 is the perfect place for entertaining. The dining room is perfect for those looking to enjoy wonderful food in the company of your family and friends, Best of Suffolk can suggest some great local caterers to help you relax and enjoy any occasion.

Sitting Room
Sit back and relax in this gorgeous room with double aspect views, beautiful exposed beams and feature wood burning stove with brick surround - perfect for those chillier evenings. There are three luxurious sofa's, one seating three and two seating two with a separate chair. For little ones there are four mini chairs. There is also a large TV for you to enjoy.

First floor
The first floor can be reached by two separate staircases, one leads you up to bedroom 2 and 3, there is a separate steep winding staircase which would have been the original staircase which leads you up to bedroom 1, however can be avoided by using the main staircase and walking through bedroom 2.

Bedroom 1
Set in the original part of the house with low level original door, this stunning room with metal framed super-king bed has has the benefit of views across to Southwold. There are bedside tables with lamps, and ample storage is provided in the built in wardrobes.

En-suite Shower Room
Through an original doorway with low head height, this room features a rain shower, basin and WC.

Bedroom 2
With views across both to Southwold and of the sea. This room has a Super-King bedroom which can be converted into two full size singles. Enjoy some peace and relaxation on the chiase lounge whilst what the sea across the sand dunes. This room has ample storage for your belongings, with additional open handing for clothes.

Family Bathroom
This stunning bathroom consists of a bath with over head rain shower and hand held attachment, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Bedroom 3
With views out towards the garden, this room has 2'6 twin beds which cab be converted into a king size bed. There is a built in cupboard for you to store your belongings.

Garden Studio
Located towards to end of the garden, this gorgeous studio is perfect for extended family to enjoy. You enter through the french doors into the main bedroom, with the bunk room and bathroom located off of this room. The annexe is ideally suited for families.

King Bedroom
This bedroom has been decorated in calming colours to create a perfect space to escape. There is a king size bed with bedside tables and overhead lamps, armchair with side table and a TV for you to enjoy. There is a chest of drawers for your belongings, with additional open hanging space.

Family Bathroom
Another beautiful bathroom, featuring a bath with over head rain shower and hand held shower attachment, wash basin with mirror above, WC and heated towel rail.

Bunk Beds
Located off of the King bedroom with built in bunk beds with separate wall lamps, with ample storage for belongings. The owners has installed a baby monitor in this room connecting the studio to the main house.

Garden
Old Valley Farm benefits from having a fantastic garden space. There is a large patio area outside the dining room with outdoor seating, perfect for dining alfresco. The remainder of the garden is laid to lawn with flower beds running parallel.

Parking for two cars is available at the front of the property.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped, the appliances include a TV televisions, Bose speaker and Wifi. The kitchen is well equipped an American style fridge-freezer, oven with induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and coffee machine.

The property is very child friendly, boasting two travel cots, two bed guards, high chair, baby bouncer chair, toys/books/puzzles appropriate for ages 7 and under and a baby monitor connecting the main house.
Walberswick is a hidden gem in Suffolk. Until the early 20th century the village was a trading port, but today it is one of Suffolk’s top tourist attractions with picture postcard village green with tea rooms, restaurants and two public houses (The Anchor and The Bell), art gallery, original crafts and gift shops. The village is famous for its annual crabbing competition and guests will enjoy the stunning sandy beach and marshland.

Old Valley Farm is located just minutes from the harbour and a pretty walk over the Bailey footbridge to the popular town of Southwold which boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries. The town’s sandy beach is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to the Pier.

Fresh fish, purchased from the iconic black Walberswick fishermen’s huts are a must!

If you're looking for adventure further afield then Pleasurewood Hills, a very popular theme park with over 35 rides, is not too far away in Lowestoft. With rides for little children, families and thrill rides for the adrenaline junkies, Pleasurewood Hills promises an action packed outing for everyone.

Another exciting day out is Africa Alive. Set in 100 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Africa Alive has five species of African savannah animals including giraffes and lions. The park is also home to some rather amazing primates including bushbabies and the rare golden-bellied mangabeys. There are great indoor and outdoor adventure play areas as well as restaurants, free parking and a gift shop.
