Muddy Cow at Ubbeston

Muddy Cow combines the Muddy Pig and Holy Cow with interconnecting doors between the living area of Muddy Pig and Holy Cow's spacious studio style accommodation, giving ample space for guests to socialise in the stylish living area with wood burners and enjoy meals together at the extendable table in Muddy Pig. All three beds are zip and link, allowing you to have twin or super king configuration, each with its own large luxurious bathroom or shower room.

A unique feature at this holiday home is the luxurious 12m x 4m private indoor swimming pool (heated throughout the year) located just a short walk from Muddy Cow where there are changing rooms and a secluded patio and furniture for you to sit and relax. The owners of Ubbeston Lodge and other guests also have access to the pool so you’re asked to book a free exclusive slot in advance for an 30 minutes daily per night booked so you can make the most of this super asset. This exceptionally spacious single storey accommodation sits on a private estate with an idyllic walk around the perimeter of the estate. There's off road parking for two cars and two enclosed courtyard style gardens down some steps at the front so you can make the most of good weather when you’ve finished exploring the coast or surrounding countryside.

Single Storey:
You’re welcomed into the spacious and sociable open plan living space with hard floors through to the bedrooms and bathrooms at the back of the self-catering accommodation.

Living Space
This large well designed space is great for a holiday, allowing you to enjoy the company of friends and family whether relaxing in the sitting area with comfy sofas, chair and coffee table around the wood burning stove and TV with sound bar; dining at the extendable table with six upholstered chairs or busy in the designer kitchen.

Built in appliances include a Neff electric oven, ceramic hob with extractor, microwave, dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer.

There's a lockable door next to the kitchen opening into the neighbouring Holy Cow to one side with a second lockable door so you can enjoy privacy if you prefer.

Master Bedroom
This smart hotel quality bedroom has a super king zip/link bed giving you the option of a twin or super-king configuration with bedside chests, a dressing table with stool and mirror and a wardrobe with additional storage in a drawer.

En Suite Shower Room
Natural daylight streams into this en suite with large corner shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Guest Bedroom
Another big bedroom quietly sitting at the back of Muddy Pig, also with zip and link beds, bedside units, dressing table and wardrobe with drawer beneath.

Each property is private with a secluded courtyard style garden down a few steps and communal off road parking.


HOLY COW

The light and airy living space is cleverly designed so you can relax in luxury during the day and have a good nights sleep in the comfortable super king size bed when night falls with a wood burning stove to add a touch of romance! An oriental style screen separates the well-equipped kitchen when you want to convert the accommodation into your sleeping space with a modern en-suite wet room.

Holy Cow has off road parking and an enclosed courtyard style garden down some steps at the front so you can make the most of good weather when you’ve finished exploring the coast or surrounding countryside. A key feature here is the private heated indoor swimming pool which guests can book for half an hour daily.

Beautifully furnished and cleverly designed with zip and link super king size bed allowing you to choose between super-king or twin configuration plus sofa and couple of chairs in front of the wood burner and TV with sound bar. Exuding style and attention to detail, this spacious room has a uniquely eclectic mix of tables, dressers, blanket chest and shelf unit for storage with a couple of unusual basket chairs.

An ornate Oriental screen separates the kitchen/dining area if you wish, where there’s a table, couple of chairs and everything you might need to cater at home - Neff electric oven ceramic hob with extractor, microwave, slim-line dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer.

Wet Room
This large wet room has natural light from a Velux window, a wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Whats Included?

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity.

This modern terraced self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating plus, in each apartment, a wood burner and appliances including a TV with sound bar and Wifi. The kitchen's are well equipped with Neff electric oven ceramic hob with extractor, microwave, slim-line dishwasher, and even a washer/dryer.

Two travel cots and high chairs are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.

Muddy Pig is contemporary single storey accommodation situated in rural Suffolk about 30 minutes drive from the beautiful Suffolk Heritage Coast.

This is an ideal base from which to explore East Anglia with picturesque coastal villages, stretches of beaches dotted with strings of iconic huts and market towns. The historic town of Framlingham with iconic Norman castle just eight miles away. Halesworth, which provides day to day shopping and recreational facilities is seven miles where you can play golf, or ride at the Mells Equestrian Centre and there are opportunities to go cycling, fishing, walking or sailing nearby.

Southwold is a must visit with a sandy beach, famous pier and excellent range of shops and restaurants plus, for beer lovers, it is home to the famous Adnams Brewery. Beautiful walks can be enjoyed at Dunwich forest, Dunwich Heath and Minsmere bird reserve and the pretty coastal village of Walberswick are all approximately twelve miles away.

The swimming pool is 12m x 4m and 1.3m deep; it is unsupervised so all guests will have to sign a disclaimer before use. Please contact the owners to book slots, these are available for half an hour per day per night booked with an additional 10 minute before and 15 minutes after your swim for changing with use of a private changing room with toilet, shower and hair dryer. Additional slots are available at £15 per half hour. You may want to bring your own and don't forget costumes, goggles and pool towels. No food or drink is allowed by the pool.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, the property is on a farm so please keep your pets under control. The private courtyard for the property is fully enclosed. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking. An additional dog may be considered by the owners, there will however be an additional cost of £25 per additional dog to cover extra cleaning costs.

The accommodation is on one level internally, however there are stairs from the car park to the property and steps up to the front door so it is not ideal for guests with a mobility problem.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
