The expertise of the owners, directors of Lark Interiors (http://www.lark-interiors.com/profile.html), is apparent from the moment you enter into the charming sitting room, complete with Bio Fuel fire for cosy evenings. The split-level kitchen/dining room extends into a wonderfully light Garden Room with door opening to the L-shaped garden with bistro table and chairs encouraging you to enjoy meals outside. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a king size bed; a second bedroom with zip and link bed and a cleverly designed shower room sitting between the two bedrooms.

Lark Cottage sits on Bridge Street, close to the heart of Framlingham a historic market town with an impressive Norman castle, an excellent range of local facilities, numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and markets. There’s short stay parking outside the front door and free long term parking approximately 80m from the cottage.

Ground Floor
Wood effect floors run through the downstairs with a number of split-levels between and within rooms.

Entrance Porch
Ideal for leaving footwear and coats before entering the snug.

Sitting Room
Exposed beams are complimented by luxurious furnishings with a two seater sofa, two velvet bucket chairs and foot stool for cosy evenings around the Bio Fuel fire. An attractive dresser sits at the entrance to the room, shelves are stacked with books, games and a Kitsound Bluetooth speaker, encouraging you to relax and unwind!

Kitchen/Dining Room
This split level room has been cleverly designed with the kitchen at the top and dining area down a couple of steps, with exposed beams reminding you of the age of this charming cottage. Appliances include an electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, small fridge with separate freezer compartment and a free standing microwave.

The dining table is surrounded by a corner bench and couple of additional benches to give ample space for meals in the comfort of your holiday home. A couple of steps lead to the living room, giving an open plan feel and there’s a door to an inner hall and stairs.

Garden Room
A wonderful sunny room with door opening to the south-facing garden. This bright room is beautifully furnished with a large sofa, inviting wing back chair, desk and occasional tables. Entertainment’s provided with a flat screen TV including Sky as well as Kitsound Bluetooth speakers.

First Floor
Carpeted stairs turn from a small inner hall to the first floor with a post to give you stability en route!

Guest Bedroom
A stylish sunny room with king size zip and link beds giving you the option of double or twin configuration. The room’s furnished with a padded headboard and mirrored chest of dressing table give a feeling of opulence and there’s hanging space in the built in wardrobe.

Shower Room
Located between the two bedrooms this small but beautifully designed room has a large walk-in rain shower, wash basin set into an antique dresser and WC.

Master Bedroom
Elegantly furnished with a sturdy king size bed with velvet headboard against the feature wooden wall. This room overlooks Bridge Street and is furnished with a handsome chest of drawers, bedside stools plus a fitted wardrobe.

Outside
Soak up the sun in the secluded south facing L shaped garden where bistro style table and chairs invite you to sit with a good book. You can unload your baggage outside the front door where parking is limited to 30 minutes. Free long-term parking is available in New Street, IP13 9HW, approximately 80m from the cottage, it’s free 24 hours 7 days a week.

This exceptional self-catering cottage is located close to the heart of Framlingham, an historic market town with vibrant central square providing an excellent range of local facilities, numerous shops, restaurants, pubs and markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays sitting between the Alde and Deben Valleys The impressive English Heritage Norman castle at the top of the hill is a wonderful place to explore for young and old with extensive grounds, plus the Castle Inn across the road, serving good food.

Lark Cottage is perfectly placed for exploring both the Suffolk Heritage Coast with popular seaside towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold approximately 15 miles to the east; and some of the most picturesque countryside in East Suffolk through which there are numerous foot and bridle paths.

Lark Cottage isn’t ideal for guests with a mobility issue due to a number of steps internally, both between rooms and split levels within the sitting room and kitchen/dining room; the stairs are typical of a period cottage so not ideal for guests with a mobility issue.

This cottage is not ideal for dogs, however a small well-behaved dog may be accepted on request on the basis that it will remain downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
