Keep Cottage with The Wood Store, Orford

Orford

Keep Cottage was originally two terraced cottages which have been sympathetically combined and renovated to make a luxury holiday cottage. The well-equipped kitchen is suitable for catering for eight guests with cosy dining room with inglenook fireplace next to it at the heart of the cottage. The wonderfully light and restful Garden Room with double doors to the patio style garden, and the large living room, also with a wood burner, are great places to spend time together and there's also a study, utility room and wet room on the ground floor.

The original two staircases remain with a beautiful beamed double with vaulted ceiling and feature chimney breast and pretty single with bathroom to one side and a second large room with king size bed at the other side of the property, with the wet room nearby on the ground floor.

The Wood Store is a single storey building with a step up to the front door and sliding glass doors with step down to the patio, making it a great place to enjoy indoor/outdoor living and reasonably well suited to guests with a mobility problem. The property's self-contained with a light and airy living space combining a comfortable sitting area with well-equipped kitchen and dining area, plus a simple bedroom with colourful soft furnishings and luxury shower room adjacent.

There's off road parking for two cars with additional parking at the castle nearby. Both properties have gardens with space to relax and dine on the patios; furnished with tables, chairs and a BBQ; plus two grassed areas for kids who want to play and there's plenty in the market town of Orford and surrounding area to entertain the whole family.
