Horseshoe Barn at Halesworth

Enter into the hallway which follows onto the main open plan living space which consists of a large dining area, modern kitchen and double height living room, extending up into the traditional beams and rafters of the original barn. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms, a twin and king-size which share a bathroom. Upstairs are a futher two bedrooms, a twin and king-size, each with their own en-suite facilities. Downstairs there is plenty of space to relax and enjoy your break in the spacious living area, playing pool in the games room or relaxing with a book in the snug. Outside is a large patio with views of the surrounding countryside and plenty of additional parking in the car port.

GROUND FLOOR: This stylish Suffolk holiday cottage has a spacious and open plan ground floor with the dining area, kitchen and living room all open to each other. Hallways lead to the games room and snug as well as the two ground floor bedrooms.

OPEN PLAN DINING: The long dining table has space for eight guests and is the perfect space to enjoy meals prepared in the modern and stylish ktichen.

OPEN PLAN KITCHEN: The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a great meal with plenty of work surfaces, an electric range oven and a large fridge/freezer.

OPEN PLAN LIVING: The comfortable and spacious living room is light and airy, reaching up into the original beams of the building. With a wood burning stove and flat screen TV with DVD player, this is a great place to curl up and relax.

UTILITY ROOM: On the ground floor there is a practical and useful utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

BEDROOM 1: This twin room has one standard single bed and a single day bed as well as a chest of drawers and wardrobe for storage.

SHOWER ROOM: The downstairs shower room has a W.C. and hand basin.

BEDROOM 2: This bedroom has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, a chest of drawers and wardrobe for hanging storage.

BATHROOM: The downstairs bathroom has a bath, W.C. and hand basin.

SNUG: A cosy bolt hole with a sofa to relax with a book or in front of the flat screen TV with DVD player and plenty of board games on offer.

GAMES ROOM: A real treat, this games room has a pool table to keep everyone entertained!

FIRST FLOOR: A flight of oak stairs leads up to the first floor.

BEDROOM 3: Upstairs, this twin bedroom has two full sized single beds which can be zipped together to form a super-king sized bed, a flat screen TV and a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage.

ENSUITE: The en-suite to the twin room has a shower, W.C. and hand basin.

BEDROOM 4: The master bedroom has a king sized bed, flat screen TV, wardrobe for storage and chest of drawers.

ENSUITE: The en-suite to the master has a roll top bath with shower attachment, W.C and hand-basin.

OUTSIDE: A car port is available to adjacent to the Barn which is home to a table tennis table and has space for one car. There is an enclosed garden and a large courtyard, which has a BBQ and outdoor furniture, in the centre of the barn. There is also plenty of additional parking at the property.

Whats Included?

All prices for this pet friendly countryside holiday cottage include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

Horseshoe Barn is equipped with underfloor heating and hot water all provided by an environmentally friendly ground source heat pump. Appliances include flat screen televisions in the living room and snug. In the kitchen there is an electric oven with electric hobs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. Wireless internet is available.

A travel cot and high chair are available on request at time of booking.

Horseshoe Barn is a detached self catering, pet friendly holiday cottage in the village of Rumburgh, Suffolk. Rumburgh is a charming rural village with a good historic local pub, The Buck, within walking distance which serves food and won CAMRA Suffolk Pub of the Year for 2012. Rumburgh is close to Halesworth, a Suffolk market town with several options for eating out, great cafes, take-a-ways and lovely shops. Rumburgh is a short drive to the market town of Beccles on the edge of the broads with a selection of restaurants and shops. The historic town of Framlingham is also nearby, with its fortress castle, traditional market square and stylish boutiques. Rumburgh is within easy reach of the coastal towns of Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Orford. Southwold is nearby which offers a great range of entertainment for all of the family with popular pubs, shops and restaurants as well as the pier, which is a mixture of traditional fun and games and quirky, interesting touches.

Strictly one (1) well behaved dog can be accommodated on request at the time of booking and is subject to our terms and conditions. Additional dogs may be considered at an additional charge of £50 per dog.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
