Lower Ground Floor
The nautical theme runs through the bedrooms at Home Reach too, all named after the buoys along the estuary that you can see through many windows. All are a good size and a bath/shower room can be allocated per room so guests will be equally comfortable. Hard flooring runs through the hall and landings to north and south with two bedrooms at each side (have a look at the floor plan for the exact layout). Bedrooms are carpeted.

This room sits at the bottom of the stairs, so is convenient for either the shower room upstairs or the bathroom at the end of the corridor. Furnished with a zip and link bed so you can choose between super-king or twin configuration. Bedside units sit to either side and there’s storage in a wardrobe with drawer and chest of drawers.
Sailing Room (Bedroom Four)
Lovely light bedroom thanks to skylights (with electric blinds) in the raised ceiling above the chest of drawers and comfy arm-chair. These beds are also zip and link so you can choose super king or twin, and have bedside drawers.
Daylight streams into this bathroom which has a rain and hand shower over the bath, plus wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

The kitchen is well equipped with an under counter fridge, three drawer freezer, wine fridge, waist height double oven and separate microwave, five ring induction hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There’s also a three-burner gas BBQ for use on the lawn.
A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
This detached Suffolk holiday home is in a collection of just nine houses on rising ground at the end of a quiet lane on the site of the original brickworks, off the Saxmundham Road. There are walks down to the beach and the heart of the town, approximately a mile away, where you’ll find excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes and a wide range of independent shops, convenience stores, art galleries and huts along the beach where local fishermen sell their wares.
The picture-postcard village of Thorpeness and world-renowned Snape Maltings are also great places to visit nearby. The area is excellent for cycling, sailing or golf and there are many interesting walks, including Hazelwood Marshes and the Sailors’ Path which starts approximately ten minutes walk from the house, and boasts some of the finest lowland marsh and heathland scenery to be found in the British Isles.
A well-behaved dog is welcome on the ground floor level. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.
