Hilltop Cottage is deceptively large, providing a place for everyone. The ground floor includes a bright country kitchen diner with seating for up to eight with a living room full of period character, with comfortable seating around the inglenook wood burner and with dining for six. Now with i-pad controlled SONOS sound system and two SMART TVs. There is also a snug room with plenty of books to lose yourself and relax. Upstairs are four bedrooms, two double rooms with wonderful views across the fields and orchard and two singles. Outside the charming courtyard garden and summerhouse catch the morning sun. There is a pet secure rear garden and a larger woodland garden to explore.
Ground Floor
Through the back door you will find yourself in the porch with lots of space to leave your boots, coats and bags. Also in here are the utility room facilities.
Kitchen
The hand made country kitchen combines traditional standards with modern facilities. It is home to a retro Smeg fridge freezer, Rayburn range oven with a ceramic hob and microwave for speedy cooking. The extending table provides family dining for up to eight. Listen to the radio on the i-pad controlled SONOS sound system while cooking or enjoying access to the garden.
Living Dining
The relaxing living and dining room is a great place to settle down on the comfortable sofas in front of the wood burner with the SMART TV, a novel, for a lively board game, or for an evening dinner for up to six at the formal dining table. Select SONOS playlist to match the mood.
Shower Room
At the base of the stairs, a door leads into the shower room with W.C. and hand basin.
Snug
This small and cosy room is ideal to curl up on the sofa with a book or watch catch up on the SMART TV.
Bedroom One
The first of two double bedrooms has been stylishly designed with an impressive vintage dutch pine dresser wardrobe with masses of storage.
Bedroom Two This single bedroom is small but light and warm - a great bolt hole.
Bedroom Three
The second double bedroom has an ornamental brass bed frame, with chest of drawers for storage and with en suite access to the bathroom.
Bathroom
The family bathroom with striking retro tiles and bath can be accessed from the hall or from the main bedroom. There is a full length slipper bath with shower attachment, W.C. and hand basin.
Bedroom Four
This second single bedroom is bright and airy and has a bedside chest of drawers and shelves for storage.
Outside
The three main bedrooms have wonderful views across the village. The garden outside leads from french doors in the kitchen as well as a path around to the parking area, shared with the adjacent eco friendly Garden Lodge which is also available.

Charsfield is close to Wickham Market, a tiny Georgian market town now with several options for eating out, great cafes, take-a-ways. and lovely shops including vintage,antiques and book shops and a brand new Co-op. Charsfield is a short drive to Woodbridge with its trendy cafes, picturesque waterfront a variety of shopping options and a frequent connecting rail service to London Liverpool Street. The historic town of Framlingham is also nearby, with its fortress castle, traditional market square and stylish boutiques. Charsfield is within easy reach of the coastal towns of Orford and Aldeburgh.
