Field Edge at Tunstall

Ground floor
You are welcomed into a large, bright hall at the centre of Field Edge which leads to the L shaped kitchen/living area on one side with both bedrooms and bathroom to the other. The bedrooms and living area are carpeted and the rest of the property has hard flooring.

You are welcomed into Field Edge into a large, bright hall at the centre of the property which leads to the living area on one side and the sleeping quarters to the other.

Kitchen/Dining Room
A brand new, high specification kitchen with dining table and 4 chairs in the centre. This carefully planned kitchen has a Bosch washing machine and dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, integrated electric Neff fan oven with four ring ceramic hob and extractor over and a free-standing microwave.

Living Room
Through a wide opening from the kitchen, the living room is furnished with a large 4 seater corner couch, a stylish patchwork chair with matching footstool, an oak coffee table and TV unit with flat screen TV. A wood burner provides another tasteful focal point as well as offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere during the cooler months.

Master Bedroom
In this huge, colourful room you’ll find a super king-sized solid oak bed with matching side tables, chest of drawers, dressing table and wardrobe. Two bright bucket chairs by the window offer a comfortable and peaceful place to enjoy a book or paper with a coffee in the sunshine.

Twin Room
Located at the front of the house the dual aspect room has twin beds with matching chest of drawers and wardrobe for your clothes. The super light fitting and fun fan effect clock make this a great room for adults or children.

Bathroom
A newly fitted bathroom suite including a bath with shower over and shower screen, white sink with vanity cupboard under, WC and heated towel rail and plenty of natural light through the wide window.

Outside
Double doors open from the end of the living room out to the patio area where there’s a table and chairs, perfect for alfresco dining in the sunshine and a BBQ stand making it easy to use disposable BBQ trays. There’s ample parking for three cars at the front of Field Edge with gates in the fence at either side of the property to the garden, which wraps around three sides. The majority of the garden is grassed with some rose trees; it’s enclosed – ideal for children and dogs, and bordered by the neighbours large garden and fields, giving lots of privacy. There's also a secure bike store and the surrounding countryside is stunning for cycling with many trails for cyclists of all abilities; if you don't want to bring your own bikes you can hire them from Avocet Sports in nearby Snape.

Whats Included?

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a TV with FreeSat, Wifi and Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well equipped with single Neff electric oven with four ring ceramic hob and extractor fan, free standing Americal style Fridge Freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
Field Edge is located in a rural spot on the outskirts of the village of Tunstall, within the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Tunstall Forest is popular for walkers and cyclists, featuring a 10 mile mountain bike trail, although you can take a shortcut if it becomes too strenuous!

Tunstall is just under three miles from the world famous Snape Maltings, possibly, the most famous tourist attraction in Suffolk with boutique shops, art galleries, cafes, walks, wildlife on the banks of the River Alde and an arts complex, best known for its concert hall hosting the Aldeburgh Festival, Snape Proms and concerts all the year.

Popular seaside towns of Orford and Aldeburgh are five and eight miles drive respectively with plenty to explore and enjoy with a wide choice of eateries.
A well-behaved dog is welcome. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our conditions of booking.

Whilst Field Edge is all on one level there is a gravel drive, a step up to the front door and out to the garden. The shower is also over the bath and the doors are standard width so it doesn’t have wheelchair access.

Please note that bikes are not provided.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
