Edinburgh House at Aldeburgh

You are welcomed into Edinburgh House through the front door which leads straight in to the stunning open plan living, dining and kitchen areas. A flight of spiral stairs takes you to the first floor where there is the bunk bedroom and twin bedroom, and a further short flight of stairs takes you to the twin, two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and the family bathroom.

The enclosed paved courtyard at the front is an added bonus, allowing you to make the most of the amazing sea and beach views, with unrestricted on road parking at the front of the property.

Ground Floor
The property is entered through the front door which leads immediately into the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, with snug, cloakroom and utility room at the back.

Living/Kitchen/Dining Area
The open plan living area is cleverly divided by partition walls and columns to give a great space for socialising with your family and friends but a degree of privacy if you prefer. There's a unique and bright decor throughout that really captures the charisma of the property, and includes great sea views. Firstly, the living space is furnished with two plush leather two-seater sofas, a couple of bucket chairs and a grand piano; in the adjacent snug beside the stairs there's a three-seater sofa a flat-screen TV with Freesat channels, DVD player and an iPod docking station.

The well-appointed open plan kitchen features a large Smeg fridge/freezer, four ring gas hob, a large electric fan oven, a microwave, a toaster and a dishwasher. An island separates the kitchen from the chic dining area with a black oak table surrounded by eight colourful chairs.

Utility Room
The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer.

First Floor
A flight of pure white wooden stairs leads you up to the first floor.

Bedroom One
Wake to the sounds and sight of the sea from the double bed in this room which also has an armchair, a couple of poser tables, built in wardrobes, and a dressing table with stool.

En-Suite Bathroom
This plush en-suite has a roll-top bath, his and hers basins, a W.C., heated towel rail, and natural light through a window between the bedroom and bathroom.

Bedroom Two
With more stunning sea views, this room has a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, a wardrobe for storage and a chest of drawers.

En-Suite Shower Room
The en-suite bathroom has a shower, W.C., and hand basin.

Bedroom Three
This good sized room at the back of the house has two single beds, hooks and a chest of drawers.

Family Bathroom
The family bathroom features a shower over a bath, W.C., and hand basin.

Bedroom Four
The fourth bedroom on the half landing is ideal for kids with a bunk bed with a chest of drawers for storage.

Make the most of the
location across the road from the beach in the enclosed courtyard garden at the front of Edinburgh House where there's a table and chairs for meals in the fresh air. Parking on the road in front of the house is unrestricted.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This large self-catering Aldeburgh accommodation with sea views is equipped with gas central heating. Appliances include a flat screen TV with Freesat channels, DVD player and an iPod docking station, four-ring gas hob, integrated electric oven, a large Smeg fridge/freezer, a slimline dishwasher and a microwave. Wifi is also available.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking.
This self-catering Aldeburgh accommodation is in one of the best locations in Suffolk, situated on Crag Path on Aldeburgh's seafront with uninterrupted sea views. The seaside town's pretty high street is just a short stroll away where you'll find an excellent range of restaurants, pubs, galleries, and independent shops and there are pretty walks around the marshes and along the coast road to Thorpeness. There are tennis courts, a 9 hole and an 18 hole golf course (rated as one of the top 100 in the UK) in Aldeburgh. For those who enjoy birdwatching, boat trips are available on the River Alde. There are also tennis courts and a golf course in Thorpeness, and for those who appreciate music, Snape Maltings is only 5 miles away.

Sorry, no smoking or unaccompanied teenagers are permitted at this property. Please note that during the summer months of July and August, Crag Path can be noisy during the evenings.

Please note that the balconies are not accessible.

A well-behaved dog is welcome downstairs. If you wish to bring a dog it must be mentioned at the time of booking on the booking form and is subject to our terms and conditions. Children are welcome.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
