On the ground floor is the spacious kitchen with glass door out to landscaped garden. The beautifully decorated living and dining room is the perfect entertaining space to enjoy, with a separate family room with smart TV. On the first floor are 3 spacious bedrooms, one complete with en-suite shower room, and separate family bathroom with shower cubicle.

Ground Floor
Entering into the ground floor into the spacious wooden floored hall way, along the corridor you have the light and airy kitchen, spacious living room with dining area and separate snug. There is also a ground floor cloakroom.

Kitchen
This stylish kitchen with wooden work surfaces is the perfect space to enjoy cooking. Light streams through the large panelled window and doors, with views across the landscaped garden. This room has all the appliances you need including a Neff Oven and Neff Gas Hob, large fridge with 2 drawer freezer, microwave, integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer. There will be a breakfast island with 4 stools, perfect for little ones to enjoy meals whilst the grown-ups are cooking.

Sitting/Dining Room
This beautifully decorated room has been designed with elegance and comfort in mind. The large wooden table with four chairs and bench seating is the perfect space for entertaining, and enjoying meals with family and friends. There is ample seating with a two and three-seater sofa, separate armchair arranged with a large coffee table and side table.

Snug
The snug is a very well designed room and can be used in a variety of ways, it can be closed off to be separate from the living space, or by opening the folding doors to create an extended living room. This is the perfect space to sit and relax in the evening, with large 3 seater sofa with a 24'' Smart TV and a variety of books to enjoy.

First Floor
Carpeted stairs rise up to the spacious landing area, leading into the 3 bedrooms and family bathroom. At the top of the stairs is a built-in wardrobe with ample hanging space, this space is available for bedrooms 2 and 3 to use for hanging space.

Bedroom One
This expansive master suite has been beautifully decorated with a mixture of soft greys and bright yellows to create a relaxing space. There is a super-king bed with side tables and lamps, a large wooden full-length free standing mirror, a large chest of drawers, a wardrobe and chair.

En-Suite
This bright and airy en-suite has all that is required with large shower cubicle, WC, washbasin with cupboard space beneath and shaving point, and full-length towel rail.

Bedroom Two
This bedroom can be adjusted to suit your needs, with a super-king zip/link bed that can either be made up as a super-king bed or two full-size single beds. There are two bedside tables with lamps and a large chest of drawers to store all of your belongings. Please note that the ceiling is sloped in part of this room.

Bedroom Three
This room is perfect for two children, an adult or adult, and child. There is a full-size single bed, with separate 2''6 bed. There are bedside tables with lamps along with a chest of drawers for all of your belongings.

Family Bathroom
This light and spacious bathroom has a bath with tiled surrounding, corner shower cubicle, washbasin with storage beneath and shaving point above, WC, and full-size towel rail.

Outside
The spacious SW facing wrap-around garden is currently being fully landscaped to create a beautiful garden with seating areas perfect for dining alfresco and additional space for the whole family to enjoy. There will be a bike rack provided next to the shed for you to store your bikes. One parking space is provided in the communal parking area to the front of the house.

Thorpeness Country Club Membership

The owners are members of the Country Club and allow you as a guest to take advantage of this - this entitles you to:

The rental includes free Low Season membership of the Thorpeness Country Club which allows tenants free use of the tennis courts up to a maximum of 2 hours per house per day bookable at the outside notice board at the rear of the club house. Low season is all year except Friday mornings 10 -12 and the last two weeks of July to the end of August.

Tenants will be required to abide by the rules of the club which are on the notice board

In High season you may apply to the Club for a weekly membership which will allow participation in the busy High Season programme of tournaments, children games and evening entertainments as part of the traditional Thorpeness summer.

Your rental also entitles you to a 20% discount on green fees at the Thorpeness Golf Club.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This self-catering holiday apartment is equipped with central heating and appliances include a Smart TV, bluetooth speaker and Wifi. The kitchen is well equipped with a Neff oven/grill, four ring gas hob with extractor fan above , a large fridge and 2 drawer freezer beneath, integrated dishwasher and washer/dryer.

A travel cot and high chair are available upon request at the time of booking.
Thorpeness, a charming holiday village largely designed by the Scottish playwright and barrister Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie a century ago, is just a mile and a half along the beach from Aldeburgh with it’s excellent eateries, pubs, variety of shops, art galleries and independent cinema.

Ogilvie (after whom the Hall was named) decided to create an idyllic model seaside village, inspired by the writings of JM Barrie, author of Peter Pan and guests are sure to enjoy the Meare (local for lake) with several miles of shallow water and islands which can be explored in the summer months by rowing boat or kayak.

A number of shops and eateries, including the village shop and excellent Dolphin Inn. The Kitchen and popular Meare café are within walking distance. The iconic House in the Clouds, hovering on the skyline, the shingle beach and Country Club with tennis courts and games rooms, often available during half term holidays as well as the summer months are just a stones throw away.

For the sporting visitors, there’s an award winning 18-hole golf course in Thorpeness and the area is ideal for cycling and walking, both along the coast and inland.

Please note that part of the ceiling in bedroom 2 is curved and offers restricted head height.
