Corner Cottage is a beautiful family self-catering holiday home, positioned in the heart of Walberswick, complete with off road parking. The property is located off the village green, just a short walk from the gorgeous sandy beach, and an array of wonderful tea rooms, pubs and a village shop. On the ground floor of the property is the sitting room, dining room, kitchen and rear lobby, steep cottage stairs lead up to the first floor with three bedrooms and family bathroom. Outside is wonderful garden space, with off road parking.

Ground Floor
Entering into the entrance hall with stairs in front, you have the sitting room on the left, and then dining room/kitchen to your right.

Sitting Room
A wonderful comfortable room with wooden floors, large front window and circular window. There are three two-seater sofas centred around the working fireplace, perfect for the winter months. There is a flat screen TV connected to freeview and a DVD player for your entertainment.

Dining Room
A wonderful family space to enjoy together, with a gorgeous wood-burning stove. There is a large wooden table with seating for 5, an ideal space to sit and enjoy those culinary delights whipped up in the kitchen.

Kitchen
A beautiful kitchen to cook up those tasty treats. The kitchen has a lovely cottage feel to it, with all of the mod cons you could ever need, including an electric oven with four ring electric hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge, kettle and toaster. Please note there is not currently a dishwasher.

Rear Lobby and WC
A very useful space, housing the freezer and tumble dryer. A door leads into the ground floor WC.

First Floor
Steep stairs lead up to the first floor landing.

Bedroom 1
Located at the front of the property, with views across to the village green and sea. This gorgeous room has painted wooden floors and decorative rugs. There is a double bed with bedside tables and lights. The room has a feature wall mirrors and original fireplace (please note this is not in use). There is a built-in cupboard for your belongings.

Bedroom 2
An ideal room for the children, with full size bunk beds. This room with wooden flooring has a build-in cupboard for storage.

Bedroom 3
Featuring a small double bed, which has the option to be made into two small singles on request (please note these are not standard size). There is a hanging rail for your belongings.

Family Bathroom
A wonderful bathroom, with pale blue panelling. There is a bath with over head shower, wash basin, WC, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. This room features wonderful views across the Harbour to Southwold.

Outside
Corner Cottage benefits from a mature secluded garden wrapping round two sides of the property. There is a gorgeous patio area with a wooden table and chairs with wicker fencing surrounding, perfect for those warmer months. The property also benefits from a private parking space for one.

The property is just a few steps from the village green which has play equipment, perfect for children to enjoy.

All prices include 100% cotton bed linen, towels, heating and electricity, plus a welcome bottle of wine and biscuits to help you get your break off to a relaxing start.

This comfortable semi-detached self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with central heating and appliances include a TV with freeview and DVD player. The kitchen is well equipped with, an electric oven grill, ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, toaster and microwave.

A travel cot and high chair are available from the property owners on request at the time of booking
Walberswick is a hidden gem in Suffolk. Until the early 20th century the village was a trading port, but today it is one of Suffolk’s top tourist attractions with a picture postcard village green, tea rooms, deli, restaurants and two public houses (The Anchor and The Bell), an art gallery, and original crafts and gift shops. The village is famous for its annual crabbing competition and guests will enjoy the stunning sandy beach and marshland.

Corner Cottage is located just minutes from the harbour, and a pretty walk over a footbridge to the popular town of Southwold that boasts several excellent pubs and restaurants as well as a range of independent shops and galleries. The town’s sandy beach is adorned with a string of colourful beach huts that lead along to the Pier.

Please note due to the age of the cottage, it does have very steep stairs.

Once you have filled out the online booking form, you will be given the option to pay by credit or debit card, or by BACs transfer. A 25% deposit is requested at the time of your booking to secure your booking. The balance and a returnable good housekeeping deposit are due six weeks before your holiday commences.
